Sophia stiffened when Aria mention the scholarship; her heart feeling heavy clench with shame as she took deep breath, trying to control and not let the tears that have welled in her eyes to fall. She really felt a complete dissappointment as a mother. On one hand she was saying that she will take good care of her daughter, fulfilling her every dream but here she can't even afford her school fees. She was really a terrible mother.
But Aria's next words froze her; quickly pulling Aria in her arms on her lap, she sternly gazed at Aria.
"Never call yourself a burden. You and anything related to you can never be a burden for me. You are my most precious treasure instead. It is I who is a terrible and awful mother who can't even come up with the money to properly educate you. Mommy is so sorry princess." Sophia said; her head bowed down in shame and regret.
