Pain,
That was the only thing Aria felt as she slowly regained her consciousness. Her fingers twitching, caressing the hand which held onto her hand like she was his lifeline and the reason to live. Aria could hardly understand what was happening around her. Distant voices ringing in her ears, speaking something that her brain couldn't process at that moment.
Finally using all the strength she had, Aria gently opened her eyes but quickly close them back, not being able to withstand the bright light around her. Enduring the uncomfortableness and agony, Aria muster up the courage to open her eyes again, blinking until it adjust to the bright light around her.
As her senses started to cooperate with her again, Aria began to become aware of her surroundings. The constant peeping sound of the machines besides her and the white walls clearly told that she was in a hospital making her dumbfounded.
