When the dust finally settled, he staggered back into view, clothes shredded, hair wild, looking like he'd survived the apocalypse by pure luck.

In DxD, the absolute peak was Great Red—the True Red Dragon God Emperor. Next was the infinitely adorable dragon, Ophis.
Those two defined the transcendent class. The Biblical loli goddess and Beast Emperor 666 weren't quite as strong, but they were still on that level.
Below them were the god-devil Transcendents and the Two Heavenly Dragons—beings who could wipe out the planet on a whim.
Shuo shook his head, sighing.

Across the ruined landscape, Beast Emperor 666 realized his attack hadn't killed Shuo. His eyes narrowed, glowing with murderous fury.
"ROOOAAAR!"
Despite his massive, thousand-meter frame, 666 moved with terrifying speed—almost too fast to see. The ground shattered beneath him as he charged, leaving hurricanes in his wake.
Shuo froze.
No way… How is something that huge moving so fast?
He barely had time to react before seven gaping maws lunged for him. Instinct flared—he reached for Susanoo's power, eyes flashing with intent. But before he could activate his defense, a burst of holy light cut through the chaos.
A rain of sacred spells crashed down from above.

Beast Emperor 666 was caught off guard, his entire body swallowed by a cascade of explosions. His agonized roar echoed from within the smoke.
Shuo blinked, lowering his Rinnegan, and looked up.
The loli goddess hovered in the sky, radiant and serene.
He hadn't expected her to save him.
"Human boy," her voice rang out, clear and gentle, each word wrapped in warmth, "it seems you've been chosen by the Star Holy Sword. But this battle isn't one you should be part of. Leave now."
Shuo stared, completely entranced.
She's… way too cute.
The closer he got, the more he felt his brain short-circuit.
"Wait—
'Biblical loli goddess'?!"
The goddess froze in midair, stunned.
She was the supreme deity, the creator of Heaven—the one everyone revered. No one had ever dared call her something like that.
At first, she managed to keep her composure, even as Shuo blurted out "cute." But when he called her "Biblical loli goddess," her mask cracked.
She clenched her tiny fists, cheeks puffed up in outrage.
"You are unbelievably rude! I am NOT your so-called 'Biblical loli goddess'! Human, don't give me such ridiculous nicknames!"
Shuo scratched his head, sheepish.
"Uh, sorry… You're just so cute, I couldn't help myself."
Her expression froze, amber eyes boring into him.
Suddenly, Beast Emperor 666 struck again—a pitch-black claw ripped through the air, power enough to tear the sky apart.
"Crap!!"
The goddess was caught off guard, sent flying by the blow. Before she could recover, 666 pressed the attack, forcing her onto the defensive.
Shuo watched her retreat, heart aching.
Even now, she's still trying to protect me.
But… because of me, she's in danger.
He gritted his teeth, magic surging to the max.
A colossal Susanoo erupted from the earth, nearly a thousand meters tall, matching 666's size.
Blue energy flooded out of Shuo, swallowing everything in its path.
For a moment, he touched Transcendent-level power.
Both the goddess and 666 turned, sensing his presence.
Even the goddess looked surprised at the scale of his Susanoo; 666 grew more agitated.
Shuo didn't hesitate—he hefted a sword the size of a skyscraper, swung, and sent Beast Emperor 666 flying across the battlefield.
The monster crashed to earth, unleashing a roar so furious it seemed to shake the world.
Shuo stood atop his Susanoo, grinning at the goddess—who, despite her adorable face, radiated zero intimidation.
"Hehe, Biblical loli goddess—come on, let's team up!"
She pouted, cheeks blazing red, looking for all the world like an angry kitten.
"I told you, don't call me that!"
Shuo shrugged, muttering under his breath,
"Seriously, it's such a good nickname—why doesn't she like it?"
The goddess's amber eyes flashed dangerously. She fixed him with a half-smile that promised trouble.
Feeling her glare, Shuo coughed and tried to look serious.
"Okay, okay! Let's start over. I'm Shuo Nangong."
"If you don't want 'Biblical loli goddess,' how about 'Little Saint' or just 'Saint'? Sound good?"
She rolled her eyes, finally relenting, a playful smile tugging at her lips.
"Little Saint… Saint… Those are fine. From now on, you may call me that."
No one had ever dared address her so intimately.
But… somehow, it felt kind of fun.
