Chapter 129 - Chapter 129: The First Primogenitor Falls—The Taishi Bureau’s Death Wish

A wave of suffocating magic crashed over the battlefield, thick enough to choke every vampire present.

"DXD: Multiverse Journey"THUD!

The pressure was overwhelming—creatures across the War King Domain dropped to their knees, faces contorted with pain and terror. Some of the weaker vampires didn't even have time to scream; the force simply crushed them into bloody pulp.

The Forgotten War King looked utterly drained, his skin bone-white, eyes wide with a terror he'd never known. Despair finally broke through his arrogance. He understood now—Shuo wasn't just strong. He was beyond Primogenitor. The gap between them was unbridgeable.

Shuo unleashed his power without restraint. The sky above shimmered as he raised both hands, silver light bursting upward, bathing him in a supernatural radiance.

Then, a sound split the air—

"ROAAAAR!"

Shuo's human form dissolved, replaced by a colossal silver dragon. Golden eyes blazed, scales gleaming with divine fury. The mere presence of the dragon warped the air, its aura dominating everything, suffusing the world with raw, unyielding power.

He stood above all—peerless, godlike.

Not just the Forgotten War King, but people around the globe felt their blood run cold as that monstrous aura swept across continents. Especially in the War King Domain, vampires cowered, unable to withstand the dragon's overwhelming might.

"D-Dragon…? He was human—how is he a dragon?!"

Silver light flared. The Forgotten War King's body trembled down to the cellular level, every part of him screaming in terror. Even his Primogenitor-class familiars fell silent, instincts compelling them to bow, to beg for mercy before a true apex predator.

The War King's eyes shook violently. The certainty of death pressed in, making the gulf between him and Shuo painfully clear.

I'm going to die.

He didn't want to die. He wanted to run.

And so, in front of everyone, the First Primogenitor turned and fled.

Shuo watched him go, eyes icy, voice devoid of pity. "So even a Primogenitor can't face death."

"ROAAAAR!"

The silver dragon's roar split the heavens. A beam of light, impossibly bright and lethal, erupted from its jaws—instantly vaporizing the Forgotten War King and his familiars. Not even Cain's curse of immortality could stand against that power; it was erased, along with its bearer.

The War King's final scream faded into nothing. His reign ended in a flash of despair.

Below, vampire elders, nobles, and coalition soldiers stared in stunned silence. It was over. Their god, the invincible First Primogenitor, had been wiped out—utterly, instantly.

Shock turned to terror as the silver dragon turned its gaze on them, magic radiating in waves that threatened to snuff out their lives.

Shuo moved.

Dragon might poured over the domain, thick as storm clouds. Silver-white flames and crackling purple lightning swept from his tail, transforming the palace and its surroundings into a hellscape. Vampires screamed, but their cries were short-lived—within moments, all were reduced to ash.

The War King Domain was annihilated. The First Primogenitor, his legions, his legacy—erased. Only the name remained.

"Ding! First Primogenitor Forgotten War King eliminated. Congratulations, Host has obtained one Black Gift Package!"

The system's voice rang in Shuo's mind, a cold reminder of his achievement.

With Nagisa as the Fourth Primogenitor, the other three were all marked for defeat. Killing the Forgotten War King was more than enough.

Just as Shuo prepared to open his reward, a disturbance caught his attention. He turned toward Itogami Island.

His castle's defense barrier was under attack. The island itself was being assaulted.

Shuo's face darkened. "They waited for me to be distracted by the War King, then struck? I've been far too lenient."

He vanished, reappearing above his castle.

Below, swarms of witches and government attack mages battered the barrier, desperate to break through. Bodies littered the ground—witches and mages who had underestimated the castle's defenses.

Shuo exhaled in relief. The girls inside had grown stronger thanks to his enhancements, but their lack of combat experience worried him. Fortunately, they'd followed his instructions and stayed inside, untouched by the chaos.

His gaze swept over the attackers, cold and unforgiving. With a thought, he seized control of every mind present.

In front of the girls, Shuo activated his "Forced Confession" ability, extracting the truth behind the assault.

The Taishi Bureau had sent attack mages to eliminate Asagi, while plotting to awaken Leviathan and destroy the island itself. The witches were members of Library LCO, aiming to steal the Dark Oath grimoire from Chitose Aya.

The castle's defenses had proven too strong, so the Bureau and the witches had joined forces, attempting to break the barrier together.

When the truth came out, fury erupted inside the castle. The girls were livid—especially at the Bureau's actions.

Not only had they allied with a criminal group, but they were willing to slaughter half a million innocents on Itogami Island just to kill Shuo and Asagi. Madness.

Yukina, Kanon, and the others—members of the Lion King Organization—were especially incensed. The Taishi Bureau was supposed to be a government ally. Now, they were plotting mass murder. It was inhuman, monstrous.
