Chapter 169 - Chapter 169: March 7th Is on Her Way, Riding Sparkle

"Y-Yeah…" Sparkle said weakly.

"How did you know they were on a date?" March 7th asked.

"Well…" Sparkle gestured vaguely. "They were strolling together, going to the amusement park, eating and buying gifts together, with some occasional close contact… That counts as a date, right?"

An invisible aura radiated from March 7th, exerting immense pressure on Sparkle. The former's voice was chillingly flat. "Where are they?"

"Before I left, they were at Aideen Park. The girl said she was going to show the little gray-haired one the 'main event.'"

March 7th ground her teeth, her fingers tapping against the nearby wall. No wonder she'd had a bad feeling earlier. No wonder…

What kind of vixen dared to seduce her person?

Stelle was too pure, too trusting, so March 7th didn't blame her. But this so-called "Stellaron Hunter girl"… hmph.

March 7th had no intention of doubting Sparkle's words. In matters like this, it was better to believe it was true than to dismiss it. If it was false, she'd make this Masked Fool cry and beg for mercy. But if it was true…

She'd make that girl cry and beg for mercy!

"What's your name?"

March 7th looked down at Sparkle imperiously and asked.

"Uh… Sparkle. Just call me Sparkle."

"Good. Sparkle, you're now conscripted by me. Take me to those two, now! If you're too slow and something irreversible happens… I'll make you kneel and cry!"

"Alright, alright! I'll take you there right now!"

Meanwhile, elsewhere.

"Stelle, do you know which place in the dreamscape is a must-visit for every tourist?"

At the entrance to the Golden Hour, Firefly gave a soft chuckle, asking Stelle mysteriously.

"What place? Hmm… the Oti Shopping Center we just visited?"

"Hmm~" (denial). "In Penacony, plenty of people stay here on loans. Not everyone can afford high-end shopping."

"Uh… then Aideen Park? It's an amusement park, and the tokens are pretty cheap."

Firefly shook her head. "Many people who come here are industry elites. To them, it's just a playground for kids, not worth their time."

Stelle scratched her head. "Then what could it be?"

"Hehe, look."

Firefly took Stelle's hand and pointed beyond the Golden Hour to a hotel towering into the clouds. "Of course, it's the Daydream Hotel! It's a must-visit for every dreamchaser, isn't it?"

"Because it's constructed in the dreamscape, the Daydream Hotel here is far grander than the one in reality. The architectural style and materials used are top-tier. Some even say the Daydream Hotel in the dreamscape could be rated as the most luxurious and extravagant building in the entire galaxy!"

"Oh, wow! You're right! How did I not think of that?"

Stelle marveled, "That's a clever little riddle. I'll have to tell Uncle Yang and the others later."

"Hehe, the really interesting stuff is still to come."

Firefly poked Stelle's cheek. "The hotel is pretty big, you know. There are tons of rooms designed for fun. Like the 'Upside-Down Room,' where visitors can ignore gravity and walk on the walls as if they were the floor."

"Or the 'Maze Room,' where the murals and mirrors act as spatial portals to create a maze for exploration."

"There's also the 'Clock Room,' where visitors move blocks to piece together a path."

"And the 'You Can't Leave Unless You XX Room,' which is even more unique. Visitors have to…"

"…"

Firefly rattled off at least ten different special rooms in one breath, then smiled brightly. "Shall we go check them out together?"

The Daydream Hotel? Now?

Stelle didn't catch the deeper meaning in Firefly's words. Instead, she started thinking seriously. When she first entered the dreamscape, Micah had told her that the hotel was under maintenance for some reason and wasn't open to the public.

Barring any surprises, the Daydream Hotel in the dreamscape was likely in chaos right now—Memokeepers and Dreamjolt Troupe members roaming everywhere, with Dormancy as the boss guarding it.

She didn't want Firefly to get stabbed.

So Stelle shook her head. "Firefly, the hotel in the dreamscape isn't open to the public right now. There's probably something bad going on inside. Let's not go in."

Firefly tugged at Stelle's sleeve. "Hmph, all that 'hotel under maintenance, temporarily closed' nonsense… it's just an excuse from the Family!"

"They're just trying to hide some unspeakable secret!"

Stelle froze slightly. An unspeakable secret? Did that mean Firefly already knew the real situation inside the hotel? Then why was she still…?

—"Mr. Gallagher is secretly holding an underground concert inside! That's why they've taken over the hotel as the venue!"

Stelle: ?

The hotel was sealed off because… Gallagher? For a concert?

Hiss—you know, that actually sounded plausible.

Firefly blinked. "What do you think? You hadn't heard about this, right?"

"Hmph~ I went through a lot of effort to dig up this intel. It's absolutely legit." Firefly puffed out her chest proudly. "So, praise me!"

Stelle played along enthusiastically. "Firefly is the smartest, cutest, and most amazing!"

"So, shall we sneak in and take a look? It's a galactic superstar we're talking about! 'Keep the Heart from Sorrow,' 'Hope Has Feathers and Wings,' 'Swaying Alone in the Galaxy,' 'The One,' 'Dawn'… all those masterpieces came from him!"

Stelle: ?

The first three she could accept, but what was up with the last two?

Did Umbrafell connect to the internet or something?

"Well… alright, let's sneak in. But if we get caught, we have to come clean and leave obediently. No doing anything illegal, got it?"

"Mm-hmm, absolutely!" Firefly grabbed Stelle's hand. "Let's hurry in."

At the entrance to the Daydream Hotel, two Bloodhound guards stood watch. When they saw Stelle and Firefly approaching, they stepped forward and held out their hands to stop them. "Sorry, the Daydream Hotel in the dreamscape is currently under maintenance. No visitors allowed. Please cooperate, thank you."

Seeing this, Stelle sighed helplessly. She knew it would be like this. Even if they wanted to sneak in, they couldn't just waltz through the front door…

Firefly smiled faintly and pulled out her phone. "Shall I scan you?"

The two Bloodhounds exchanged a glance and simultaneously took out their phones. "Three thousand credits will do. We don't dare ask for more."

With a beep, the phones chimed with a "payment successful" notification. The Bloodhounds grinned. "Please, go right in. If anyone asks, just say you got lost and wandered in by mistake."

The two entered the hotel. Stelle gave Firefly a strange look. "Wait, I don't get it… They just let us in like that? If it's this easy, won't the concert be packed?"

"Aren't they afraid of getting scolded or having their pay docked?"

Firefly shook her head. "From what I've observed, the Family's employees all share the same mindset: the thickness of their paycheck determines their attitude."

"Here, as long as you have money, there's nothing you can't do."
