Now he had 4 years of peace.
Now he had no idea what to do now.
He entered the orphanage which was like an old abandoned home, it was crumpled up.
Upon seeing forward he saw an old lady whose face was wrinkled up and was in a bent shape, her upper part bent forward due to old age.
She saw the boy and the knight who were the escort and said in a low tone which was barely audible to them:
"Well well..., looks like we have another addition to the family....."
Ezzor could barely hear her, she somewhat seemed fragile.
After that she took the boy to the room where most of the children were gathered.
Just as he entered the room where the old lady took him, it was like an abandoned place, most furniture or the interior of the building seemed like it had been there for decades.
The old lady then released him and had a chat with the knight who escorted him, and shortly he also departed from this place.
He didn't show any signs of disgust when he came to the room, and he was more friendly towards the old lady which was very unlikely, as he learned from the surroundings that most of the knights had self-esteem or self-pride.
After that she came to him and started speaking:
"No need to be shy now. Hmm… let me look at you. Such tired eyes for someone so young…"
She sighed softly, then smiled. "…Tell me, little one… what is your name?" she said with a soft tone.
"Ezzor," the boy replied.
"Ezzor, huh... ho ho, what a cute name. Well then, Ezzor, from today onwards this will be your home and the children here will be your siblings... well then, let's get along."
Then she turned towards the kids who were looking at them and said to them: "This is your new brother, please make him comfortable and do not tease him."
Then the old lady left the room, leaving the boy and the children.
The boy didn't care to confront them.
Slowly a bunch of people were surrounding Ezzor.
As they all were entering the boy, they could see the look on his face, it was as if he was scared to meet them, and his actions were also similar to that expression.
He didn't want to be there.
Instead of surrounding him with questions they slowly departed.
One of them asked, "What is your name?"
To which the Ezzor didn't reply, he stayed silent, not talking to them.
And there were a bunch of questions following that, but he answered none of them. He remained silent.
He just watched them endlessly in silence.
He could hear the whispers following that silence.
But the questions didn't stop, they came at him endlessly.
Leaving the ranting to the crowd, Ezzor left from that place to a corner spot and crouched down, not caring about the questions that were coming.
Ezzor could hear the noise descending and he finally felt peace. He wanted to be alone.
He went to his room which was shared by 5 others. As for him, they were all boys.
He entered the room, it was like a garbage dump, all of the bedsheets looked bad and messy and all the clothes scattered all over the place.
And there were 4 people shouting and laughing noisily.
They didn't even come to the place where all of the kids were there.
Ezzor went past the room not caring that he was stepping on the clothes of the people in the room.
While he was in the midway of going to his bed,
He heard one of the boys say,
"Hey, watch where you are stepping."
Ignoring the shout he went forward while stepping on the mess.
"You shit!" the boy launched a punch at Ezzor.
"Thud."
The fist landed on the face of Ezzor with a huge force.
Ezzor jolted back from the force of the punch.
"Drip drip."
Blood was coming out of the place where the fist landed, but the boy who hit Ezzor couldn't watch any expression from Ezzor's face, all he saw was a blank expression on his face.
It was the first time it had happened.
He didn't expect the boy to be so fragile that he would be bleeding with just one punch.
Slowly Ezzor lifted himself from the place and stared back at the boy who had hit him.
Not giving attention to him, he wiped off the blood from his cheek and went forward.
While Ezzor was moving forward after wiping the blood on his face with a blank expression, The boy took a step backward, his eyes fixed on Ezzor's blank face.
His heel caught on the mess of clothes scattered across the floor, and before he could steady himself, he stumbled and crashed to the ground.
He watched in disbelief as Ezzor walked to his bed and lay down, sleeping peacefully, untouched by what had just happened as if none of it had ever occurred
