Madam Pomfrey was a tall witch who was proficient in healing, decoctions, herbs, and other medical treatments.

According to gossip, St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries had invited her to join three times, promising that if she agreed, she could directly become Deputy Headmistress.

But even so, Madam Pomfrey firmly refused, saying that she only wanted to stay at Hogwarts.

Of course, this was just gossip, and its authenticity remains to be verified. Because neither Madam Pomfrey nor St. Mungo's had spoken about this news.

They didn't admit it, but they didn't deny it either.

This is also a small unsolved mystery in Hogwarts.

When Kyle walked into the school hospital ward, Madam Pomfrey happened to pass by him and handed a bottle of green potion in her hand to the young wizard lying on the hospital bed.

"This is the last bottle of potion for scabies. Remember to apply it topically, not to drink."

She turned around again and trotted off to another bed, muttering, "Why are so many young wizards sent here every year at this time?

What on earth are those professors at Hogwarts doing? Why are they all so irresponsible?"

It was obvious that she was in a bad mood.

Just as Kyle was hesitating about what to say, Madam Pomfrey glanced over.

"Merlin's beard! What's wrong with this kid?" She rushed over, carefully placing Mikel on an empty bed. Without even turning back, she asked, "What's this time? Potions? Defense Against the Dark Arts? Why is he unconscious?"

"Neither, ma'am, it was Charms class,"

Kyle whispered. "Mikel cast Lumos, and that's what happened... Professor Flitwick said he must have exhausted his magic."

"Yes, he did... Wait, what did you say?" Madam Pomfrey turned back to Kyle in disbelief. "Lumos?!!"

Her expression was like she'd seen Dumbledore pole dancing in the Astronomy Tower.

There was a hint of absurdity in her disbelief; it was clear she didn't believe what Kyle said.

Young wizards these days are becoming increasingly unreliable. Even when they're lying, they have to come up with a plausible excuse.

Casting an Lumos and then exhausting their magic... That's ridiculous. Why didn't he just say Filius was knocked out by an Illumination spell?

"It's true. The Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw first years saw it, and Professor Flitwick can testify to it,"

Kyle explained quickly, recounting the events of Charms class.

After hearing this, Madam Pomfrey's suspicions were largely dispelled.

If first years from both houses had seen it, the story would likely spread throughout Hogwarts quickly. If he'd lied, it would have been easily exposed, not to mention that he'd even brought Filius into the picture.

Madam Pomfrey turned and looked at Mikel as if he were a rare magical animal. This was the first time she'd seen a young wizard with such poor control over his magical powers.

From the description, a spell of that magnitude strongly resembled a magical turmoil.

Powerful, but uncontrolled.

But Madam Pomfrey was certain that when she examined the young wizard just now, she hadn't found any signs of a turmoil; it was simply a case of overdrawing.

"You really learn something new every day..." Madam Pomfrey sighed subconsciously.

Kyle nodded in agreement, fully understanding Madam Pomfrey's feelings, as he felt the same way.

If a wizard casting a spell is like driving a car, then Mikel's actions were like stepping on the accelerator, draining the gas tank and speeding off 200 kilometers in a second.

Don't mistake this for a good thing.

It was faster, but it wasn't slow either.

It was a good thing it was just a Lumos; if it had been an Incendio... Kyle shuddered and vowed to stay as far away from Mikel as possible during class.

As far away as possible!

He'd thought the "explosive genius" who wouldn't be starting next year was outrageous enough, but he hadn't expected a "forbidden spell wizard" this year.

Hogwarts really doesn't keep idle people.

A few minutes later, Dumbledore, having received the news, arrived, bringing Snape, who was in class, along.

Madam Pomfrey led them to Mikel's bedside, whispered a few words, and then stepped aside.

Dumbledore bent down, carefully observing Mikel's condition, occasionally tapping him with his wand.

After a long moment, he wordlessly put away his wand and turned to Kyle, who was standing beside him. "Good morning, Kyle. Did you bring him to Poppy's place?"

"Yes, Professor," Kyle nodded.

"You did well," Dumbledore smiled. "And I heard from Poppy what happened. If you hadn't helped those fallen students, Mr. Mikel wouldn't be the only one lying here."

Kyle waved his hands repeatedly, "It's my duty, Professor, and I wasn't the only one helping."

"But you were the first to step forward," Dumbledore said with a wink. "Many senior students, even adult wizards, can't remain calm in times of crisis, but you did, and you did it well. Your bravery and humility earn Hufflepuff twenty points."

Perhaps it triggered some key words, but as soon as Dumbledore finished speaking, Snape, who had been looking at Mikel, suddenly turned his gaze to Kyle.

It was as if he had just noticed someone standing there.

However, Kyle didn't notice this. He was looking at Dumbledore at the time and asked, "Professor, how is Mikel? Can he continue his classes?"

"Of course," Dumbledore smiled. "It's a bit troublesome, but it's not difficult to solve. It only requires a little Magic Suppressing Potion , which our Potions Professor will be able to brew soon."

 "One day,"

Snape walked over and said coldly, "I promise to send it here before Hufflepuff starts Potions class tomorrow. But before that, Mr. Chopper, there is one thing I must remind you..."

Snape suddenly paused, revealing a mocking look, "You'd better tell your friend to take care of his poor brain and wand. Frequent magical exhaustion can turn a wizard into a Squib. I think you should know what a Squib is."

"I know, Professor!" Kyle said.

 "Very good."

Snape ignored Kyle and turned to leave the school hospital.

"I think we should go too," Dumbledore said. "Mikel needs to rest. I suggest you visit him again this afternoon."
