The next morning, I wake up with a start to the blare of an alarm, the smell of smoke penetrating my dreams
Is the barn on fire?
I fly downstairs to the kitchen, where I find Mandy frantically waving a tea towel beneath the smoke detector.
"Mandy? What's goin' on?"
"I was tryin' to fix y'all eggs Benedict, but the Canadian bacon wouldn't cook. I cranked the heat and... Well, see for yourself."
The alarm stops just as I lean forward to inspect the still-smoking pan. The rounds resemble charcoal bricks.
"Cookin' for us was a sweet idea."
"You're just bein' nice. I could've burned your house down."
"But you didn't. So technically speakin', that's two nice things you've done today."
Moments later, Minho hobbles down the stairs. One arm is slung around Jisung's shoulders for support.
"Why aren't y'all outside? Didn't you hear the smoke detector?"
"False alarm, Minho. We had a little mishap with breakfast."
Minho peers down into the pan from his perch on the stairs. His eyes dart to Mandy, then he smiles widely.
"Looks fine to me. Fried 'til it looks like shoe leather, just the way Dad liked it."
"You're sweet, but I still think we should play to our strengths. Jisung, you and (Y/N) can take over. I'll keep Minho company."
In the living room, Mandy eases Minho into a chair that faces away from the kitchen, as Jisung assumes his position at the stove.
"That was the last of our Canadian bacon, so I'm gonna have to improvise. Can you handle makin' a hollandaise?"
"Maybe, but I'll need a helping hand."
I pick up a wooden spoon to melt some butter in the pan, and Jisung covers my hand with his. His breath is hot against my neck.
"You mean like this? "
"Somethin' like that."
Mandy's laughter from across the room brings us both to our senses.
"Go on and shred the last of this summer squash. It'll fry up nice."
Jisung and I stand shoulder-to-shoulder as Minho and Mandy chatter away in the next room.
"Seems they really bonded yesterday."
"Doubt it could compare to how we bonded."
"Yesterday was magical. Touchin' you out in that cornfield? Watchin' you lose control when I did it? Ain't nothin' like it."
"Don't worry. I'm thinkin' hard on how we can manage somethin' like it again."
"Ahem! I'd love some orange juice. Mind bringin' me a glass, (Y/N)? " Mandy yells from the living room.
I peel away from Jisung to pour the drink just as Minho turns to look at us two, breathing a silent sigh of relief. I've never forgotten myself like that before.
"Alright, folks. We got poached eggs and hollandaise over zucchini fritters. I tweaked your idea a bit, Mandy. Hope you don't mind."
"Are you kiddin'? I never could've come up with this!"
"What did I tell ya? Jisung's the best friend a guy could ask for." Minho tells Mandy.
"Well, I can't take all the credit. (Y/N) helped."
Beneath the table, Jisung presses his knee to mine. I make a show of focusing on the food, but secretly, Jisung's touch is the only thing I can think about. As I polish off my meals, Mandy stands to clear our plates.
"Since I didn't really cook, I figure it's only fair that I clean. And safe."
"Unless you flood the kitchen. How about I help? I didn't get nearly enough Mandy time last night, after all."
"In that case, we'll give you the room. Gotta help Minho back up those stairs anyway." Jisung offers.
"When we get this place flush again, remind me to add a bedroom on the first floor..." Minho suggests.
Together, the two hobble up to the second story. Once the coast is clear, Mandy turns to me with a devilish grin.
"Things seem to be goin' pretty well with you and Jisung."
"We're gettin' along alright."
"Don't try to pull that coy bull with me, (Y/N). I know y'all are more than cordial. Now spill. What happened yesterday?"
"We paired up to raise the barn. After that, we spent the rest of the afternoon dancin'. But my favorite part was when we snuck away to the cornfield for some...alone time."
"Oh my God, (Y/N)! You really can't keep away from each other. But I have to ask...how do y'all expect to keep this secret?"
"We don't, not for long. We're just waitin' for Minho to heal up before we tell him. Wouldn't wanna set back his recovery."
"Looks like we're both worryin' about Minho. I thought cookin' for him shows I'm more than just a city girl. Fat lotta good that did."
"Mandy, you made one mistake. Trust me, I make plenty of 'em and Minho still likes me."
"But I don't usually make mistakes like that. I've just been frazzled ever since I agreed to plan my parents' anniversary party. I was runnin' over the menu in my mind, dreamin' up signature cocktails, then, woosh! The whole meal was burned to a crisp."
"So what? Minho clearly didn't mind."
"He was just bein' nice. I don't want anyone takin' pity on me."
"That's not pity, Mandy. Minho doesn't play games. He says what he means, so it's best to believe him."
"I do. I just wish I could impress him by doin' somethin' well for once. Wait! I have an idea for how to redeem myself with Minho and buy you some alone time with that cowboy upstairs. You remember how my daddy can't cook for squat! When he got together with my dad, he decided on makin' picnics. "Ain't no one can pack crackers and cheese and sandwiches like I can", he'd say. If Julio could manage that, so can I!"
"...And if you're halfway across the property with Minho, Jisung and I could get a little cozy."
"Whaddya say? Will you help me pull it off?"
"I would love to! But if we're gonna pull this off, we'll need supplies."
"Yes! Someone else should absolutely be makin' those finger foods."
A short drive later, we arrive at Thunder Valley's local butcher and grocery store. Mandy claps her hands together in excitement.
"This place should have everything you need to fill a picnic basket."
"Includin' the basket!"
She grabs one made of wicker and begins to fill it with goodies.
"Oh, you'll want this. It's wildflower honey from a fella down the road. Pairs well with cheese. Makes it fancy. And these oatcakes? They're the old family recipe of a baker in town. They look like regular ol' crackers, but they're next level."
"You're startin' to sound like Jisung."
"I can't help it if his good taste is rubbin' off on me."
"Well, of course he has good taste. He's interested in you, ain't he?"
Mandy looks down into her basket, now nearly overflowing with treats.
"Hmm. I think we have everything we need. What am I missin'?"
"Just this. Champagne to wash it down!"
I grab a bottle off the shelf and hand it to Mandy. She slots it into the corner.
"It's perfect, (Y/N)! Thank God you were here, I never woulda pulled together somethin' this good on my own."
"Just consider it payment on all the times you've been wingwoman for me."
We head to the counter and pay for Mandy's picnic, then head back to the ranch. A short while later, Mandy and I arrange our spoils in the picnic basket as Minho shuffles into the room.
"Thought I heard you two in here. Jisung wanted me to ask if y'all are ready for lunch."
"Actually, Minho... I was hopin' you'd join me for a picnic. I thought you could use some fresh air."
"A picnic? I'm not sure..."
"No, don't protest. I screwed up breakfast, you gotta let me make it up to you. Plus, I already made up a basket. Everythin's taken care of, save for the location. (Y/N)...any suggestions?"
"You should head to the pond. It's the most peaceful spot on the property. If you're lookin' to relax, that's the place for you." I suggest.
"Some peace and quiet might do you good, Minho."
"Could always use some more of that."
"Just picture it...dappled sunlight dancin' on the still water, ducklings wadin' in the shallows. It's everythin' you could ever want." I tell them.
"I'm sold! C'mon, Minho. Let's head out."
"You sure you're up for it? It's a bit of a ways."
"All the more reason for y'all to get a move." I smile.
"I know y'all have an ATV. You sit on the porch, I'll just bring it around front."
"I'm perfectly capable..."
"No arguni'. Picnic planner gets to drive, those are the rules."
Minho mutters under his breath as Mandy leads him to the door. As soon as they drive off together, Jisung's arms slip around me from behind.
"A picnic date at the pond, huh? Somethin' tells me you had a hand in this."
"Maybe. Either way, looks like the picnic plan worked out great for everyone."
"Were you helpin' outta the goodness of your heart? Or were you hopin' to get me alone?"
My yearning burns through me like a fever. I long for Jisung's touch, the taste of his kiss.
"I did it for us. A chance to be alone with you? How could I resist?"
"Breakfast today was torture enough. I don't know if I would've survived lunch."
"What're we gonna do about dinner?"
"I'm hopin' this'll tide me over."
Jisung leans in to kiss my neck. I feel his teeth scrape the skin of my throat.
"Damn, (Y/N)...just a few seconds alone and I can't seem to help myself."
"Then don't."
I turn, wrapping my arms around his neck to pull him flush against me. I brush my nose with Jisung's, watching as the corners of his lips turn up in a smile. A heat blooms between our bodies. my breath catches in my chest as he leans forward.
"Mmmm..."
Our tongues tangle in a slow, sensual kiss as I slip my hands beneath Jisung's shirt.
"I can't ever get enough of you, (Y/N)."
Jisung's palms slide over the delicate curve of your waist, down to my hips. When we finally break away to breath, Jisung presses his lips to mine throat.
"God, Jisung. The way your lips move..."
His kisses trail the curve of my neck. When there's no more skin for his mouth to explore, he pulls at my neckline.
"This is in my way..."
He hooks a finger around the hem and pulls it to the side. My sigh as he nips along your collarbone. Without an inch between us, I can feel Jisung's need harden in his jeans. Even through the denim I can feel him throbbing. I loop my arms around his neck, pulling him tight against me, grinding my pelvis up against him as I deepen the kiss...
"Yes..."
Jisung massages my breast with one hand, the other sliding slowly over my stomach, down between my legs. He strokes me slowly over the fabric of my clothes.
"Oh..."
He keeps making slow circles over my most sensitive spot. I dampen at his touch.
"I need to feel you."
"You've got me right here."
I tug the hem of his shirt up to reveal his hard abs, then bend to press my mouth against them, kissing my way up his stomach to his chest.
"Yes..."
Finally, I drop his shirt, needing the taste of his mouth against mine again. I wrap my arms around his neck to pull his entire body against me. I can feel his heartbeat through the thin fabric of his shirt, along with the heat of his flushed skin.
"You like doin' this where anyone could see? The idea that we could get caught...does it get you goin'?"
"With you? I could get into a little exhibitionism. Someone as gorgeous as you should never be hidden away, after all." he tells me.
"In that case, let's move this to the window..."
I drag Jisung by the hand. Soon, we're kissing in a stream of sunlight that warms my skin to the touch. The fantasy of having Jisung here, out in the open, makes me shudder with desire.
"Jisung..."
The only thing louder than my moans is the roar of the ATV as it tears across the lawn. We startle apart, but Jisung pulls me back in for one fierce, final kiss.
"Hold that thought."
Our lips tingle as we quickly rearrange our clothes. Soon Jisung opens the door, and I step out after him onto the porch.
"Hey, y'all! How was it?"
Neither of them turn toward us. They're too busy bickering.
"I'm not stupid, okay? Clutches are for purses, not vehicles." Mandy yells.
"I was only tryin' to help!"
Jisung swoops in, offering Minho his arm for support before leading him back to the porch. I hold Mandy's hand as she hops down.
"That brother of yours can be so infuriating! And bossy."
"No one knows better than me. Trust me."
Mandy chews on her bottom lip, arms crossed over her chest. I can't help but notice her eyes following Minho inside. Minutes later, Jisung reappears on his own.
"I brought Minho to his room, but I've gotta check on the foal. Join me, (Y/N)?" Jisung asks.
"I should probably stay and keep an eye on Minho. That's more activity than he's had since we got back from the hospital."
"No, you go. I'll keep an eye on him...and work my way up to an apology. I was bein' a little pigheaded..." Mandy suggests.
"Mandy Martinez? Apologizin' for bein' stubborn? Someone check Hell, I think it just froze over."
"I think you mean 'thank you', (Y/N). And I'm not gonna grovel. It's only honest to tell him he was bein' even more stubborn."
"Then I definitely don't wanna be anywhere near y'all... But call if you need us."
Grinning, I follow Jisung to the stables. When I glance over my shoulder, Mandy's stomping inside, a very unapologetic look on her face.
"Think they'll still be alive when we're finished with the chores?"
"I'm not quite ready to place any bets yet...but if I did, my money is on Mandy."
In the privacy of the stables, I take Jisung's hand.
"We've gotta make sure the foal gets used to human contact. When it comes time to train, he'll need to trust us." Jisung instructs.
"Kinda like the first foal you taught me to lead."
"You remember that, huh?"
"How could I forget? It was the first time I did somethin' real around this place. I was so proud that day."
"I didn't realize it had such an impact on you."
"A lot of our time together had that effect, Jisung."
I squeeze Jisung's hand, and are surprised to find that, in addition to the spark I always feel around Jisung, there's also an undercurrent of gentle affection.
"Enough reminiscin'. Let's get to work groomin' this little guy."
The foal nickers at us in agreement.
"That's right, you like having friends, don't you, boy? Which gives me an idea..."
I make a quick trip to the hayloft, and return with Ozzy in hand.
"Ozzy, this is our new foal. Y'all, this is the owlet I mentioned the other day."
The mare and her foal nicker at Ozzy and Ozzy hoots at them in joy.
"I'm no expert, but I think they like each other." Jisung smiles.
"Guess we can cross 'getting' the foal acclimated' off our to-do list."
"Twice. Once for humans and again for owls."
I place Ozzy on my shoulder so I can latch the stall behind me. He hops to a nearby post. Once he's gone, I feel Jisung's arms encircle my body from behind.
"Jisung..."
"Weren't we right about here before bein' interrupted?"
"You know, now that you mention it, that does sound right..."
I'm losing myself to the passionate kiss Jisung's pressing to my lips when we hear a slow...
Clap...Clap...Clap...
"Very nice. I rate y'all a ten out of ten on the steamy kissing scale."
"Mandy! You scared me."
"Oh? How about I scare you right offa this ranch for the night?"
"What do you mean?" Jisung asks.
"You clearly need some alone time. And frankly, y'all deserve better than a stable. Oh, like Blue Springs! There's a great restaurant at the hotel there, and it's far enough away y'all could be anonymous."
"I'm not sure we can swing a fancy meal right now." I tell her.
"But I can, and I'm actually insistin' on it. As a thank you for puttin' me up on short notice. Or really, no notice. You deserve some time together. Besides, I won't even be spendin' anything to send you. I placed a huge catering order with them for my parents' party, and they gave me a big ol' gift certificate as a thank you."
"Are you sure you don't mind stayin' here with Minho?" Jisung double checks.
"Not at all! I just found out he's never had sushi. Now I have an excuse to make him try it."
"You know the only raw thing Minho's ever eaten is cookie dough, right?" I inform her with a giggle.
"Well, then it's high time he had a new experience."
"In that case...thanks, Mandy. Dinner out sounds great."
"Oh, I ain't finished yet. Come with me, I wanna show you somethin'. "
"I'll be right there. Just gotta return Ozzy to his nest."
"You mean we gotta. That little guy's way too cute for me not to tag along."
Before I can leave, Jisung catches me by the hand.
"I guess it's a date."
"It is. See you tonight."
Up in my bedroom, Mandy grabs a garment bag from my closet.
"I brought this for my parents' anniversary party, but it just wasn't right. On you, though..."
She unzips the bag to reveal the ensemble within. A beautiful short blue dress with a long tulle over skirt.
"It'd look stunnin', (Y/N). And how often do you really get to dress up around here?"
The lush fabric glides across my skin. I feel fancier already.
"Oh, wow..."
When I catch sight of myself in the mirror, I'm floored.
"Mandy, this is incredible. You're too generous."
"No such thing. As your best friend, it's my job to make sure you look as good as you feel."
With one last appraising look in the mirror, I link arms with Mandy and head downstairs. I find Minho resting comfortably on the couch, reading the newspaper.
"Mandy said you and Jisung are headin' over to Blue Springs for a dinner date?"
"She did? Why would she...the thing is..."
"It's with my Dad's friend, Jim. Wanted to talk about a potential partnership, isn't that right?"
"Right! Yes! Him. Figured it was worth it to hear him out. Since you're still outta commission, Jisung's comin' along to keep me company."
"Don't let Jim rush you, (Y/N). Stay for every course. Minho and I will be just fine on our own."
With a wink, Mandy disappears into the kitchen. When she's gone, Minho waves me over.
"You think it's a good idea to leave Mandy here alone? She doesn't know a lasso from a lingonberry."
"C'mon, Minho. You have a lot more in common than you think."
"She wants me to eat sushi, (Y/N). I know I like a rare steak, but c'mon."
"Sounds like we're both gettin' out of our comfort zones tonight."
"sighs, but smiles at the sight of you."
"Well it doesn't show in that get-up. I can't imagine anyone lookin' at you and thinkin' you were anything but confident as all get out."
Just then, Jisung steps into the room, all cleaned up for a nice night out.
"Well, aren't you two a pretty picture?"
Jisung's face pans from my feet to my face. A smile tugs at the corner of his mouth.
"You look real good, (Y/N). Though I'm startin' to think that's more the rule than the exception."
I feel his gaze like a spotlight. In a room full of people, he only sees me.
"Right? She don't miss." Minho points out.
"You're welcome, everyone." Mandy says with confidence.
"You ready?" Jisung asks me with a smile.
"Let's get outta here."
We arrive at an ornate, gorgeous restaurant in the center of Blue Spring's bustling downtown.
"Wow..."
"That's what I wanted to say when we were back at the ranch. That outfit makes a fella itch to take it off, if you know what I mean."
"You don't look so bad, yourself."
Jisung unhooks his arm from mine so he can pull a chair out for me.
"Such a gentleman."
"When I want to be."
I pore over the elaborate menu as Jisung's wide eyes scan the room.
"Nicer than your average fare back in Thunder valley. This is your chance to sample the finer foods..."
"I'm still just takin' in the décor. Got no idea what I wanna order just yet." he tells me.
As I lean forward to respond, our waiter appears, brandishing a bottle of champagne.
"I'm sorry, but I think that must be for another table." I tell the waiter.
"Actually, it's for you, on the house. The two of you look so fantastic, you're doing us a favor by being here. Please, take it with our compliments."
"In that case...thanks so much! Don't mind if I do!"
He pops the cork and pours us each a glass. Jisung raises his in toast.
"To us."
"And to lookin' like a million bucks."
I take a sip of the cold, crisp champagne, the bubbles tickling my throat delightfully. Soon after, a violinist arrives to play tableside.
"I didn't..."
"Oh, I know. This has Mandy written all over it. But it is kinda nice, don't you think?"
Jisung reaches across the table and laces his fingers through mine. He brings my clasped hands to his lips for a kiss.
"It is nice. But I think that's mostly the company."
The violin's song serenades me through each course. When his entree arrives, Jisung clutches his heart.
"This filet is incredible. The bourbon glaze? Genius. It enhances the meat without just coverin' it up. I will say though, if it were me doin' the cookin', I would've added a little Dijon. Balance that sweetness with some heat."
"I've never enjoyed food as much as I do with you. You're so passionate about it."
"I suppose that's true. Once, I even toyed with the idea of openin' my own restaurant. Before I joined the circuit, that is."
"What stopped you?"
"There was always some purse I was chasin'. Or some girl. I couldn't find the time to break away."
"You've been on the ranch a while now. Which dream feels more right now?"
"When I'm ridin' a horse, it's all I wanna do. All my fears and doubts about the future just fade away. But when my boots are back on the ground, I can't deny it... I'm never more myself than when I'm cookin'."
"I wanna know more. What would you serve at this restaurant of yours?"
"Simple, down-home cookin'. Everything would be made the old fashion way, just like your dad taught me."
The waiter brings us a single slice of chocolate cake to share. My eyes sparkle in mischief.
"And for dessert?"
"Hadn't got that far in my menu plannin'. Any suggestions?"
"I'd vote for somethin' simple. It should be somethin' classic to stick with the theme. A cobbler, maybe? You could even swap the fruit for whatever's in season."
"This is why I love talkin' to you, (Y/N). You get me."
"I'm just a good listener."
We take turns feeding each other from our forks. Jisung reaches to brush a stray crumb from my lip. Beneath the tablecloth, his free hand caresses my thigh. The blood in my body rushes to his touch. I feel a bit lightheaded.
"The things I wish I could do to you right now..."
"Jisung..."
The fire in his eyes are more intense than I've ever seen. the flames of my passion flare in response.
There's no one here to interrupt us, no history that can hold us back...
I cover Jisung's hand on my thigh and slide it up between my legs. His breath hitches.
"This restaurant's in a hotel. Why don't we see if they have a room?"
I lean in close to whisper at the curve of his ear.
"Then I can have you all to myself. All. Night. Long."
Jisung quickly settles with the waiter and we make our exit, wrapped in each other's arms.
"I should probably reach out to Mandy, see if she can help us with an alibi."
"Take all the time you need. I'll get us a room. If I finish before you, meet me in the hotel bar."
I whip out my phone and fire off a text as Jisung approaches the front desk.
(Y/N): "SOS. SOS. SOS! Can you cover for us? We're checking into a hotel
Mandy: Yes! How do you wanna play this?
(Y/N): Tell Minho Jim drank us under the table!
Mandy: Classic Jim. If he were real that is lol.
(Y/N): Do you think he'll buy it?
Mandy: He's too distracted trying to find something edible in the sushi boat I ordered. Don't tell, but I said the yellow fish was special chicken.
(Y/N): My lips are sealed.
When I look up from my phone, Jisung's nowhere to be seen.
"Looks like it's time to meet a special fella at the bar..."
Jisung stands alone at he bar, a glass of bourbon in his hand. Seeing him almost takes my breath away...and gives me an idea.
"Howdy, stranger. Come here often?"
I claim the seat beside him. A sultry grin plays across my lips as Jisung watches me over the rim of his glass.
"What're you playin' at (Y/N)?"
"I thought we could spice things up with a little role-play."
"Oh yeah? And what 'roles' are we playin'?"
"Let's play two strangers in a hotel bar. We can be anyone we want. Me...I'm in town from the big city."
Jisung rakes his eyes over my body, mouth curling in a smile.
"Is that right? And what brings a city slicker like yourself to this neck of the woods?"
"Business. But right now I'm more interested in pleasure. No strings attached, of course."
"Lucky for you, I'm only here for the night. Headin' for the coast tomorrow, so I can't stay."
"The coast, hmm? You sound like an interesting fella. Buy me a drink?"
"Comin' right up. Hopefully, you stick around for more."
I order and the bartender delivers our drinks. I eye Jisung over the rim of my glass as I take a sip.
"Let's see how long you can keep my interest."
"You might not know this about me yet, but I always strive to keep my partners...entertained."
"I'm afraid I'm gonna need more than your word."
Jisung's foot brushes my ankle beneath the bar. I lean in to rest my hand on his knee.
"Speakin' of...why don't we head upstairs? Get to know each other a bit better?"
"Now?"
"Unless you'd like someone else to buy me a drink. I have all night."
"Let's not be too hasty, here. There's plenty I'd like to learn about you. What makes you tick, what turns you on..."
"I'll be frank...I've never done this before."
"met a man in a bar?"
"Wanted to take him home."
"Is that what you want to do?"
I drag my fingers up the inner curve of his thigh.
"Isn't it obvious?"
Under the cover of the bar, I guide Jisung's hand between my thighs. I'm even wetter than I was when he left me in the restaurant. Jisung swallows hard.
"So? What'll it be?" I ask him seductively.
"Come with me."
I toss back my drink. Jisung throws down some bills to cover the cost, then leads me to the elevator. In the hallway outside our shared room, Jisung struggles with the key. I can't help but tease.
"I know we don't know each other well, but..."
I stroke his arousal through his pants. Jisung groans, pausing to rest his forehead against the door.
"Not as shy as I thought you were."
"I just can't keep my hands off you."
"I don't mind. In fact, I kinda like it."
the lights on the door flashes green. Jisung flings it open, then pulls me inside to take me in his arms. He presses me up against the closed door, the intensity of his kiss taking my breath away.
"I can't explain how intoxication' this is. Havin' you here...there's something about it."
He slips his hand inside my panties so he can feel my slick need for himself. I nearly moan Jisung's name, then remember our earlier game. I bite my bottom lip in torment. I buck against his hard, yearning for the calamitous release only he can provide.
"So, what were you picturin' down there in that bar?"
"I need you in the shower."
I step into the bathroom and turn the shower knob to hot. Steam steadily fills the room.
"Feelin' a little dirty?"
"That depends."
"On?"
"Who's helpin' me get clean."
My fingers make quick work of Jisung's buttons. I explore every inch of skin as it's exposed, hands gliding over his taut muscles. At last, I peel the fabric from his skin. Jisung stands bare-chested before me, breathing heavily. I trace my fingertips over the hair that trails beneath his waistband, and he reaches for his belt.
"Yes..."
Soon, I'm on my knees, easing Jisung's pants over his hardened length. When the fabric pools at his feet, I shed his final layer so I can take him in my mouth.
"Ohhh..."
I grip him by his hips, desperate to taste him. Before I can, Jisung pulls me to my feet.
"I was just gettin' started."
"Well, put a pause on it. It's time I made you feel good."
Jisung's eyes are hungry with need. He reaches out to cup my breasts, brushing his thumbs over my pert nipples. I sigh as he slowly peels the fabric away, his fingers lingering over each curve of my waist, breast, hips...
"Ohhh..."
As my clothing pools at my feet, he bends to press his lips to the soft swell of my breast.
He hooks a finger in the waistband of my underwear to pull it to my ankles, the he leads me into the shower.
"I've got plenty of other things I wanna do to you."
Jisung slides a finger past my folds to explore my slick arousal.
"Do you like it when I touch you this way?"
"I love it."
The water rains upon my skin, but its heat can't compare to the blaze inside me. Jisung presses my back against the tiled wall. When I spread my legs, he teases me at my entrance.
"Tell me you want me."
"I want you."
He reaches behind to squeeze my ass as he plunges his water-slick length into my body. I tighten myself around him as he thrusts in and out. I bite my bottom lip to silence a moan.
"There's no one here but me. Don't hold back."
"Dammit...that feels so good..."
The sounds of my pleasure echo off the walls, spurring me on. Just as I feel myself teetering toward the edge, Jisung grips me tighter.
"I wanna make this good for you. Tell me how to bring you there..."
"It has to be hard and rough."
Jisung pulls my legs up onto his shoulders, bending me as I struggle to take him deeper.
"That's right, take all of me."
The dominance he displays leaves me burning with desire.
"Jisung!"
His name bursts from my lips just as my pleasure reaches its crescendo.
"I don't wanna pretend anymore, Jisung. Look at me, please."
When our eyes meet, all I see is my own burning passion reflected back at me.
"I'm so close, Jisung...I..."
"Me too, (Y/N). Just give into it...let it happen..."
We cling to each other as our passion overtakes us. My gasps break into soft moans, and I ride through my release.
"Yes..."
"Oh, (Y/N)..."
We pant into each other's arms enjoying the steady stream of water as it trickles down our bodies. Later that night, I'm starting to doze as Jisung strokes circles on my shoulder.
"What are you thinkin' about, (Y/N)?"
"I'm thinkin' it's nice to share a bed. I know we've been sleepin' together, but tonight we actually get to sleep together."
"I hadn't thought of that. Anything I should know? Do you sleep-talk? Sleepwalk? Snore?"
"Guess you'll have to close your eyes and find out."
"Honestly, I can't wait to."
Jisung leans in, pressing his lips to my forehead. I can feel his smile through his kiss.
"You were incredible tonight, (Y/N). I've never seen you so...uninhibited."
"Bein' here with you...I dunno. It brought out another side of me."
"I hope I can see it again soon."
I press a kiss to his throat, then nuzzle close. Before I know it, I'm asleep in his arms. Early the next day, I stretch out in bed, then cuddle up to Jisung. He presses a kiss to my temple.
"Mornin', (Y/N)."
"Mornin'."
"I'm glad you're up. I've been thinkin'..."
"Already? Ain't it a bit early for that?"
"I've been tellin' myself this'll just burn out, run its course. That we just need to get it out of our systems."
"And now?"
"Now I know that ain't gonna happen. The more I get of you...the more I want. I've never felt like this before, (Y/N). Not about anyone. And I don't think this feelin' is goin' away."
"What are you sayin', Jisung?"
"I think it's time we told Minho what's goin' on. Healed up or not, he deserves to know."
