It wasn't until midnight that Chu Yunxuan finally remembered to go and check on Zhao Ziyuan.
He still didn't know that all the women in the backyard had seen him and Zhao Ziyuan affectionately together by the fake mountain.

"What's wrong? Are you sick?"
He gestured to touch Zhao Ziyuan's head, but she harshly slapped his hand away. Then, during Chu Yunxuan's moment of surprise, he saw the woman on the bed staring at him with an icy, hateful gaze.
