After pretending to be unconscious in the tent for a while, when I 'woke up,' I buried my face in my hands and cried my heart out while the water creature stored tears next to me.
Whenever my hands slightly left my face, it would spit some water into my palms. The water it spat out was the same as before; it was like a mobile water bucket.
Bi Shi came back from outside and was startled to see my 'tear-streaked face.' But except for the 'tear marks' on my face, my eyes weren't red or swollen. Bi Shi looked closely, realizing the trick, and said earnestly:
"Cheer up, out with the old, in with the new. You're still young; why not take another step forward?"
"Get lost!" I turned my back on Bi Shi, my phone was dead, and there was no place to charge it in the tent; I was already annoyed...
After putting on enough of a show, by afternoon, the chief in white sent people into the jungle again; this time, they were sent to pave a path and open a 'passage' in the forest.
