Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: All of You Come at Me, I'm in a Hurry

Even though Henry Hughes didn't say who it was, Julian Fairchild still immediately thought of that drunk girl who had clung to him yesterday.

"Does it have anything to do with me?"

As Julian's long-time friend, Henry Hughes couldn't help but tease, "Truly heartless."

Julian didn't open his eyes. His features were deep and well-defined, with sharp lines that exuded a unique charm somewhere between a young boy and a mature man, compelling submission.

His voice was indifferent, "What has you concerned with such matters today?"

Henry Hughes simply sat down beside him, speaking mysteriously, "I really don't have time for others, but do you know who the girl that hugged you yesterday is?"

The night approached, the wind stirred up waves of green, and Julian's long eyelashes cast a swaying shadow on his eyelids, adding to his cool demeanor that seemed to slow the passage of time around him.
