Lauren replied, then paused for a moment: "When will you have time to come back and see me?"
She wasn't worried that Thea, now with wealthy parents, wouldn't acknowledge her; Thea wasn't that type of person.
But with her daughter not around, sometimes she just has peculiar thoughts.
Thea thought for a moment: "I haven't really had any time lately..."
She has changed too much, afraid that returning home would let Lauren notice something, she needed time to prepare an explanation.
"It's a bit busy right now, they've arranged classes for me here with teachers. When I have time, I'll come back. If you're really missing me, you could come to Aethelgard to find me, isn't my sister also in Aethelgard?"
This sister is Lauren's biological daughter, Chloe.
Her relationship with Chloe is just average, mainly due to the large age gap. By the time Chloe understood things, their parents suddenly brought home a sister, she felt irritated.
