Zia Sutton dropped Thea Shaw off near Chloe Shaw's company.
Chloe's office was in a skyscraper, surrounded by similar buildings. Except for the working crowd, there were few residents, making it a quiet area.
She messaged Chloe, thinking it was still early, and decided to take a stroll nearby.
Unexpectedly, Chloe immediately called back, "You can wait downstairs at our company for a bit. I need to go out for an errand and can return to the office this afternoon. I'll take you around."
Thea agreed.
After waiting for a while, she saw Chloe coming out of the building lobby, wearing a women's suit with wide-leg pants. She looked sharp, carrying a cardboard box.
Thea walked over and, seeing this scene, couldn't help but feel puzzled: "Sis, not only did you not get promoted, but you got fired?"
