"Get in!"
Accompanied by the clinking of chains, Fang Zheng was pushed into a room separated by iron bars.
The room wasn't large, about a dozen square meters. It was already quite crowded, with most people squatting in the corners resting. Upon hearing the commotion, they all looked up.
"You guys."
Officer Lin shouted from outside:
"He's only staying here temporarily. He'll be interrogated later, so don't mess with him."
"Yes, yes."
One of them nodded repeatedly, with a flattering smile on his face. As he watched Officer Lin leave, he immediately withdrew his expression, his gaze falling on Fang Zheng.
Particularly on the chains on his arms.
None of the others in the room were wearing these, as the iron bars were a barrier; they were only used during interrogations.
"Friend, did they forget to unlock the chains on your hands?"
Someone raised his chin and said:
"Shouldn't you call them back?"
"No." Fang Zheng lowered his head, expressionless:
"Doesn't matter."
