The tiger braced its body, slowly stood up, and growled softly at Su Ruan.
"Roar."
Su Ruan tightly gripped the bow and arrow, and said softly, "You can understand what I'm saying, can't you? If so, nod your head."
Under Su Ruan's gaze, the tiger slowly nodded.
Indeed, Su Ruan thought to herself and continued to ask, "You grabbed that apple because you thought it tasted good? If so, nod your head; if not, shake your head."
The tiger thought for a moment, nodded, paused, and then shook its head.
Tigers are carnivorous animals, so naturally, they wouldn't think apples taste good.
But the truth was that every part of its body was screaming to obtain that apple, no matter what.
In the tiger's taste perception, the apple wasn't delicious, but it just wanted it.
No reason, or perhaps, a reason it couldn't comprehend at the moment.
Su Ruan didn't understand the nodding and shaking response, so she switched to another question.
"You were once human, weren't you?"
