The head of the giant dragon, along with a thick segment of its neck, was torn in half by the Red Dragon, with foul-smelling, fresh blood spraying out in torrents. A strong jolt of pain caused the Chimera to cry out miserably, echoing far and wide.

The Chimera's cries startled all the beasts and creatures within this mountain forest, turning their gazes to distant corners to explore the cause of this alarming commotion, wondering what trouble had made such a powerful monster emit such a piteous cry.

"Pick up your head," the Red Dragon contentedly retracted its Dragon Claw, knowing that a monster like the Chimera wouldn't succumb to death from such injuries. After a period of recuperation, it could even regrow its head.
