During twilight, the streetlights hadn't turned on yet, and the sky was already dark.

Two figures walked into the alley, one after the other.

For Yu Wenjin, the biggest difference between men and women was that when confronted with its battle stance, women's screams were louder.

So it wised up, deciding to stalk its prey for a while, waiting until they reached a secluded spot before lunging with the Bone Blade, aiming just below the prey's back heart.

This method had always gone smoothly.

Of course, during its hunts, it had received recruitment offers from others of its kind but always declined.

It didn't like teaming up; only cattle and sheep moved in flocks.
