Penglai Island emerged in another serene part of the ocean, having removed the temporary barrier that had been erected. Now only a dense mist enveloped the sea, concealing the island's presence.
However, from an outsider's perspective, the mist seemed to seal off not just the island but also the sky above it. Yet, from the island's viewpoint, the encircling white mist was invisible, and the sky appeared clear and bright, showing the night sky and the starry sea.
Under the bright moonlight, two people strolled along the abandoned village street, the adjacent lake reflecting the beauty of the starry sky like a mirror, with a cool night breeze gently wafting by.
