Watching Kami and Ernado leave without a word, the smile on Baiyi's face slightly faded as he turned and walked towards the direction of the Inner City District.

Mosen followed leisurely, examining the cracked crystal in his hand with a somewhat gentle tone: "You've made the right choice. At least three forces want this thing now, and you really can't hold onto it."

Baiyi said warmly, "Thank you, Legion Commander. I just wanted to recover some losses, but I still caused you trouble."

Mosen's eyes showed appreciation. He bent his legs slightly and jumped lightly, landing effortlessly on the head of the Demon Lion.

He stood steadily atop it, "I just hope you remember that you grew up in Dongwu City. Everything else... doesn't matter."

The Demon Lion beneath him slowly accelerated, surpassing Baiyi by several body lengths. Mosen tossed the giant sword in his hand upwards, and it landed precisely in the scabbard on his back.
