"Nice increase in experience," Henry muttered under his breath, eyes lingering on the glowing screen.

The human beside him blinked. "Are… you talking to me?"

Henry stiffened, ears twitching. "No… no. Just talking to myself." He studied the man more closely and activated his skill.

'So Inspect works on humans too… but I can't see their health bar. Interesting.'

"My name's Felix," the human said, extending a hand.

'Should I tell him my real name?' Henry hesitated, then smiled warmly and clasped it. "I'm Golbin"

Felix glanced around the ruined hall. "So… Golbin what's the plan? How do we get out of here? And what exactly are those items you want to sell?, I can help you with that, I've a Marchant friend"

Henry exhaled slowly, trying to sound confident. "I don't know the exact way out yet, but we'll find it. I'll protect you with everything I've got."

Felix's brow furrowed. "And the items?"

"Weapons," Henry replied simply. He had just started to pull up his inventory when the door creaked open.

The smell hit first, iron and rot.

"What now!" Henry snarled, weary of the endless fights.

Five unarmored orcs stumbled through the door. Their jaws dripped with fresh blood, their mouths smeared with crimson. When they saw the corpses of their kin sprawled across the floor, their eyes hardened.

For a moment, they stared at Henry. Then without warning they turned and bolted back the way they came.

"Yeah, run while you still can," Henry called after them, forcing a smirk.

"So how do we go about the undead senctory before the Penta..." Felix was cut off as roar tore through the walls. Stone cracked, dust rained down.

The chamber shook as a massive orc smashed through, followed by the same five unarmored ones.

Henry's heart dropped. "Shit… they brought their boss." His hands tightened on his bow.

Henry's lips curved into a grin despite the danger. "That weapon he's carrying would fetch a fortune. I won't miss this chance."

But then his gaze drifted past the chief—into the room behind him.

Tables lined with butchered humans. Bones gnawed clean. Limbs stacked carelessly in corners. The stench of rot and dried blood choked the air. Henry's stomach churned violently.

'So that's why Felix hesitated to trust me. He thought I was one of them.'

Felix darted toward the shadows, chased by the unarmored orcs. Henry called after him, "Don't go too far! Stay close!"

The Orc Chief bellowed and lunged, swinging his heavy blade.

Henry sidestepped, barely avoiding the strike. "Fight safe, Felix! I'm coming!"

The chief's sword crashed down again and again. Sparks flew as Henry blocked with his bow, the impact rattling his arms.

"No damage… my bow's too thick. Is it… crystal-forged?" His mind raced even as he dodged.

The orc moved slower than Henry, its strength outweighing its speed. That was Henry's advantage. He wove around each furious swing, letting agility guide his survival.

*Clang!* *Clang!* * Clang!*

Each missed blow left gouges in the stone floor. Henry's breath came quick but steady. One mistake meant death.

The chief's blade slammed into the wall, embedding deep into the stone. It snarled, straining to pull it free.

Henry acted instantly. He lunged forward, leaping high, and drove his foot into the creature's throat.

[-9 HP]

The orc gagged and stumbled, clutching at its neck.

Henry landed, already pulling his slingshot. Two rocks gleamed in his hand. "No helmet. Perfect."

*Whew*

The stones whistled through the air and struck true, one in each eye.

The orc shrieked, blinded, flailing wildly.

Henry smirked. 'Nice shot.'

He nocked an arrow, drew back, and aimed for the bleeding sockets. "Time to die."

The arrow pierced between the eyes with a sharp crack, driving deep into the skull.

*Roar*

The orc staggered, let out one final roar, and collapsed with a thunderous crash.

Ding!

His thought broke off.

"Felix…" Panic surged through him.

"Shit, Felix!" Henry bolted toward the other chamber.
