Levin didn't charged but instead he maintained his distance and attacked them with spells at first he used "Inferno and Gale slash" levin wanted to test them what kind of spells they can endure ,although he didn't knew if they could feel any pain , but if they can't feel any pain it would be annoying.
Levin had many fire spells some of them were very deadly but as for wind spells he didn't have many so he wanted to test his wind spells and in process of fighting them he wanted to make some new wind spells but it wasn't an easy feat .
To make a new spells you had to first understand your element , having more understanding with you element makes it easier to create new spells according to your needs that fits you well , that when you use this new spell it won't use a large amount of your soul power.
To create a new spell you have to make sure you could control it and easily without any effort.
Making a spell isn't easy Levin tried many times when he fell into the trap created by that 'Dragon' in there he only focused on fire element but now it isn't as easy it seems , Levin tried to minimze his usage of fire spells and was constantly attacking those stone monsters with his wind spells the spells Levin could use was "Dispersion and Gale attacks" these 2 attacks , levin was attacking them but they use their shield to defend themselves.
Levin was getting frustated after seeing that his attacks have no affect on his opponents Levin tried to make arrows with his wind element like he made flame blade but he didn't succeed , seeing his enemies closing in he used his fire spell "Ignis hurricane" and "Hellfire" both at the same time.
All the stone monsters were engulfed in flames but upon using 'Hellfire' on that the intensity of heat was unbearable , Levin was sure that this will take care of them but to his surprise all the monsters were alive aside from scratches upon their stone armour.
Levin was quite shocked because the spell he used were his strongest and they just put scratch on them and nothing more.
Levin couldn't believe his eyes , sweat rolling down his face , seeing his enemies in front of him he was panicking , second thoughts were forming in his mind 'Can I defeat them , there are so many of them , how will I defeat them , my spells aren't working and then Levin looked straight at the 3 gigantic stone monsters they haven't moved a bit,why,why they could easily kill me are they just watching me , so that they can watch me how I defeat them'.
Levin thought they are no ordinary monsters they haven't attacked me all the did is defend themselves .
Levin thought of a crazy idea he decided that he would fight them with a sword but this time he won't summon "Flame blade' this time he will fight them using something else.
He formed a sword out of shadows but instead of attacking he stood there and closed his eyes and now he was doing something different he wanted to make a new spell so what if he didn't succeed in making a wind spell he will create a new fire spell.
What Levin was trying right now was something he never thought of this sudden bold idea came to his mind right now.
Levin was trying to summon the fire on his shadow sword which was a very difficult task , levin tried to understand his shadow element but compare to his fire element his understanding od shadow element was close to none, although he could use shadow sense , make weapons out of shadows and hide in the shadows it was a completely different thing .
Levin's understanding of his shadow element was close to none, Levin tried his best to summon fire on his blade but he couldn't ,so he decided to fight without it .
Levin charged forward with the help of wind magic he slashed his sword horizontally ,Levin was using his Dragon slaying art which he created himself ,it was a bizzare technique but Levin had used this style for over '10,000 years'.
Levin was now proficient in swinging although it may look barbaric or he is just swinging the sword but the every time he slash his sword it's perfect if a seasoned swordsman saw this he would have complimented him.
But right now Levin was between a fight levin was slashing through the stone monsters and slowly moving forward but the strange thing was that there numbers weren't decreasing .
Levin didn't had time to find what was happening so he just used his sword in midst the battle he was constantly trying to summon the fire on his shadow blade , levin was using this chaos to increase his focus so that even if he was in between the battle his mind would be strong enough to concentrate on summoning the spell and as well as fight monsters.
Levin wasn't disappointed in his failure he always tries to learn from his mistakes , Levin knew what he was doing he was completely aware that he won't be able to summon the flames on his shadow blade but he wanted to see his limits.
Levin knew he won't succed on his first try because if it was that simple he would have done it , even now during the battle he was still trying to summon the flames .
Levin was cutting those stone monsters easily but he still don't know how to completely defeat them , Levin saw that the monster he had slashed in two was now again standing and was closing in.
Levin thought if this keeps going on I won't be able to conserve my strength when I had to face those gigantic monsters, Levin was trying hard he was only using his swordsmanship and didn't use any spell , still Levin was getting tired he wanted to finish this endless battle he was fighting.
Levin was completely calmed and composed when he started fighting but it's been almost '17 hours' he has been fighting without stopping and in all this time he hadn't found a single clue on to how to kill these monsters.
Levin was getting frustrated every second Levin wanted to use his fire spells but he was holding back not to use his power he thought what happens if he used his spells again and they don't die he will be using his soul power to launch those spells , but right now he didn't want to be low on soul power.
Levin was thinking since his arrival he has been fighting these things non stop , levon wasn't even sure if they were the only one here, he thought maybe there were other monsters here and didn't showed up, but honstly Levin doesn't want anyone else to show up .
Levin thought maybe he had become arrogant thinking that he can kill some monsters and now he decided to come alone in some lost ruins and thinks he can fight alone.
Levin didn't want someone else in his life and he didn't any allies either he wanted to become stong on his own so that he won't need anybody.
Levin was very annoyed at this point of time he screamed"What are these things how the hell am I suppose to kill these things".
But then Levin thought of a bold idea maybe he was missing something, he knew that every monster has a weakness how come they don't , they must have a weakness to he just haven't found yet.
During the ongoing battle Levin closed his eyes and he used shadow sense , now his shadow sense had evolved he could see through objects and that was when he saw a shining core in the right side of their body.
Levin didn't notice before because he was just busy slashing around but now he sees it there weakness , Levin's eyes were closed he wanted to fight only using his shadow sense , he wanted to become stronger so this time he was only relying on his shadow sense to see how this battle turns out.
Levin started slashing those cores inside their bodies , Levin was quickly moving between them but this time Levin wasn't unscathed he took many hits from them his leg and his shoulder were grazed by their swords , levin didn't wanted to waste any more time and with slight use of wind spell on his foot his speed enhanced and quickly he killed all of them and this time none of them got up again.
Levin was panting heavily as he sat down on the floor with a smile and said "Finally I killed these damn monsters".
Levin was just enjoying his moments aftwr the fight he was literally tired when the air in the atmosphere shifted , levin saw that those gigantic monsters moving towards him.Levin said 'Finally making your move'.
Levin was very tired and all he wanted was to rest for a while and recover his energy but Levin knew if he didn't move now he would die .
All three of them were moving together , Levin didn't knew how strong they were but he knew it won't be an easy fight. Levin stood up and said"I guess they don't want me to rest , it will be one hell of a night".
