Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Starting to Allocate Points

Shuichi then unhurriedly went to the food wholesale market, intending to prepare his own breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a long time to come.

Thinking of this, Shuichi suddenly noticed the problem with his financial situation. As he pondered, he felt like he had discovered something very important.

In Konoha Village, ordinary villagers seemed to live in harmony with the Ninja, like one big family, but in reality, there was a lot of information about the Ninja that ordinary villagers were completely unaware of.

One of these was the income of Ninja. Konoha Village had the best reputation in the Ninja World, and most of the Ninja in the Village were lavish spenders. At the same time, Ninja of Chunin rank and above would not disclose their mission earnings.

Taking Shuichi's father, Wutian Kenta, as an example, Shuichi vaguely remembered that his father was already a Special Jonin from the day he began to understand things.

Based on his father's active time during the Second Shinobi World War, his Ninja career must have completed at least 10 S-Rank Mission.

Because he had carefully recalled the plot of Hokage at home, Shuichi, although he didn't know the detailed rewards for each rank of mission, was certain that the reward for an S-Rank Mission was definitely over 1 million Ryo.

Even a Genin's D-Rank Mission, meant for practice, could yield over 10,000 Ryo if they encountered a generous client.

Considering his mother was a Chunin in the Medical Team, Shuichi could confidently say that if he could successfully inherit his inheritance, he would have at least 3 million Ryo.

Currently, besides the small house allocated to him, he received 2,000 Ryo per month as living expenses from the Village. It seemed the Village was being quite stingy.

"No, I can't use the standards of my previous life to evaluate this world. If I were to actually be given millions of Ryo in assets now, would I, as a child, dare to take it?"

Thinking this, Shuichi felt that what Konoha did, if not excellent, was at least reasonably fair. A young child possessing a large amount of money would be seen as a big piece of meat in the eyes of others.

Even if a Genin or an ordinary person harbored ill intentions, Shuichi would be completely unable to resist, and the Village couldn't possibly protect all orphans with Ninja indefinitely.

So, from this perspective, it was just that life was a bit tight, but at least safety was guaranteed.

At this point, Shuichi began to calculate the prices of ingredients: In the anime, Ichiraku Ramen was considered the most affordable shop in the Village, with the cheapest bowl of plain ramen selling for 60 Ryo.

Based on conventional catering costs, and assuming Ichiraku was a conscientious businessman who kneaded all his own noodles, then buying good quality noodles outside would cost at least 20 Ryo (for one meal's worth). Eating frugally, it would be close to 50 Ryo a day.

Originally, he planned to switch his diet starting tomorrow to a healthy regimen of bread and milk for breakfast, and rice with vegetables and meat for lunch and dinner, because physical fitness was one of the most important foundations for a Ninja and absolutely could not be ignored.

Now, after these calculations, Shuichi realized that the cost of an ordinary diet and a high-nutrition meal plan were completely different, so he had no time to think about other things and immediately quickened his pace, heading directly to the nearest grocery store.

By the afternoon, Shuichi's first stop was the rice shop, which was currently very crowded with a long queue.

After a moment of thought, he went to stand next to the last person in line and started bouncing around, looking left and right, hoping to see the price board.

The person in front noticed a small child bouncing around behind him, not knowing what he was doing, so they kindly asked for the reason and then told him the price of rice.

After leaving the rice shop, Shuichi immediately turned into the butcher shop next door.

Konoha's planning of the commercial street still had some modern flair, with various rice shops, butcher shops, seafood shops, etc., all closely packed together on one street, so he quickly surveyed the prices of various meat shops.

Undoubtedly, Shuichi's luxurious dining plan combined with efficient training led to a shortage of money. The cheapest rice price was more than twice that of an equivalent amount of noodles, and meat prices were at least five times that of noodles.

Time flew by. Shuichi then visited all the places that sold food, then went straight home and sat at his table, calculating with a pen.

In his calculations, after deducting monthly utility bills from the 2000 Ryo, and assuming he spent not a single Ryo on other aspects of life, his diet could only consist mainly of noodles and rice, with meat only two to three times a week.

Such a diet would be relatively easy to sustain himself as a child, but if he were to train, the nutrition might be a bit insufficient.

A few days ago, when he first transmigrated, there were still some provisions at home, and he wasn't in the mood to eat much then, only eating a little to fill his stomach when he felt hungry, which is why he forgot about this aspect.

Since he had decided to become a Ninja, he naturally had to do his best from the very beginning.

Currently, he was still a child, and only needed to acquire another source of income to meet the requirements for a nutritious meal plan.

Although he encountered some difficulties, Shuichi still did not give up on his original plan, after all, as the great man said, there are always more solutions than problems.

His greatest advantage now was his mature mindset and the various knowledge brought from his previous life, which set him apart from orphans who had no one to guide them.

After assessing his current situation, he decided to first study the system's point allocation over the next few days before considering how to solve the money problem.

After adjusting his mindset, Shuichi refined the details of his plan and went to bed early.

...

The next morning, Shuichi adjusted his condition to the best, and directly set off to the outside of Konoha's central district.

Because Konoha Village was quite large, visually, starting from the Hokage Rock as the origin, an area with a radius of 1 kilometer outward was the central district of Konoha Village.

This entire area was composed of various buildings, and it was the most densely populated place.

The central district could be considered the 1st ring, with 2nd, 3rd rings, and so on outside it.

And the further one went to the outer rings, the greater the proportion of trees interspersed among the housing clusters. It could be said that all villagers in Konoha could enjoy garden-like scenery.

Shuichi had now reached the streets of roughly the 3rd ring. He found a clear, flat, and sparsely populated street, and at an intersection, Shuichi began to explore a route suitable for running exercise.

He circled several different routes back to the original intersection, then took a few deep breaths, simply stretched his limbs, and then ran along the route he had scouted as having the best road conditions.

While running, he consistently maintained a two-steps-inhale, two-steps-exhale rhythm, and his speed was unhurried.

After running for a while, he clearly felt that the physical fitness of people in this world far surpassed that of his previous life. If it were his body from his past life, he would already be panting heavily now.

The Chakra setting is to extract energy from 130 trillion cells. Humans in his previous life had about 40 trillion cells or more in their entire body, indicating that in terms of physical fitness alone, people in this world are at least about 3 times stronger, and this doesn't even account for the future boost from Chakra.

And in his memory, world-class marathon runners could reach 20 kilometers per hour, so even though Shuichi was a child now, he was much stronger than his body before transmigration.

Shuichi didn't count how long he ran, but rather how many laps he completed on the chosen route, then stopped just before his breathing became slightly erratic, walked slowly, and noted his body's sensations at that moment.

Once he had a rough idea, he immediately returned to his residence. During his rest, he recalled the plot, practiced the basics of hand seals, and then made himself a good, hearty meal for lunch.

It was now afternoon. Shuichi felt that he had fully digested his meal and his physical strength had returned to its best state. He once again went to the starting point of the route he had run in the morning.

"Begin allocating points!"
