Chapter 113
The battlefield trembled under the crushing weight of mana as the humanoid beast towered over Renji, Dracan, and Takeda. The three of them fought desperately, their attacks synchronized, yet no matter how hard they struck, the monster was always faster, stronger, and always one step ahead.
The beast's cold eyes shifted sharply toward Dracan and Takeda.
"Playtime is over."
A violent, invisible force erupted from the beast, pulling Dracan and Takeda into the ground. The earth itself twisted, bending beneath their bodies, pressing them so hard that both screamed, straining against the unyielding pressure.

Dracan's wings beat frantically, tearing at the soil, but the force held him down like a steel trap. Takeda's blade scraped uselessly against the ground as he struggled to lift himself, sweat streaming down his face.

He stepped out from the ruins. Renji's eyes widened.

Renji said sharply.

He placed a hand on his chest, mana surging violently through his body.

Immediately, the city darkened unnaturally as rain began to fall . Hundreds of people trapped in underground shelters vanished from their hiding places and were teleported to the battlefield, surrounding the beast. Their eyes were wild, full of hatred, fear, and malice. Their very essence had been corrupted.
Choji, still running toward Renji, found himself among the crowd, his heart pounding.
"What… what is happening…?!" he gasped, looking around in confusion.
