"Great Eruption!"
"Laser Beam!"
"Tempest Kick!"
Sakazuki, Kizaru, and Zephyr struck in the same heartbeat. Power howled.
Sakazuki's left arm liquefied into magma, heat wavering off it in waves as he hammered forward. At the same time, pinpoints of light gathered along Borsalino's fingertips and a laser lanced straight for Rakuya's skull.Zephyr arrived half a step later, leg hardened with Armament and scything for Rakuya's shoulder.
Against anyone else, a surprise like that meant a one-sided beatdown.
Rakuya did not even blink. He lifted his chin and let his voice carry.
"Repulsion: Endless Hell."
Boom.
The ground thundered. Centered on Rakuya, the air compressed into countless silver needles that fanned out in a perfect 360-degree storm.
"What?" Kizaru's pupils tightened.
"Iron Body."Zephyr felt the killing intent and locked his frame, kick freezing mid-swing.
"Moonwalk."Sakazuki flashed ten meters back, eyes narrowing as twin geysers of fire boiled up from his fists.
"Great Eruption.""Great Eruption, second.""Great Eruption, third."
Three whirling magma fists roared out in a staggered volley. Each was ten meters across, a rolling sun that swallowed Rakuya's position from left, right, and center. The combo was vicious and precise. Even blocking would mean being drowned in molten rock.
"He's done for."
"Someone is dying today."
"Defy the Marines and this is what you get."
Shouts rose from the ranks as the triple strike closed in.
Boom.
"Heavenly Cloud Sword."
Kizaru's face went solemn. Light surged between his hands and a radiant blade over ten meters long took shape. From a distance it looked like a divine weapon, humming with lethal promise. He brought it down and a rippling shockwave tore the air, torrents of light spilling from the point.
Thunder rolled as smoke boiled. Rakuya's silver-needle hell met magma and light head-on. Wind shrieked. Dust geysered skyward.
In an instant, the triple assault vanished into the storm. Rakuya stood where he had begun, calm as a rock in the tide.
Heavenly Cloud Sword cracked, riddled by a million air-forged needles, then shattered and bled away into motes. The storm did not fade. It swelled and arrowed straight for Borsalino.
"What…" Kizaru stared. Having his Heavenly Cloud Sword ripped apart in a single exchange hit like a slap. He tried to slip free, body breaking back into photons, but the needles had already arrived.
"Ugh."
Even elementized, the light body stuttered under the barrage. When he reformed at range, his face was a shade pale.
The Great Eruption volleys had fared no better. The needle tempest chewed through them, scattering magma into smoking clots. Sakazuki flinched a fraction too late. Several lances punched through before his body dissolved back into searing lava.
Zephyr's Iron Body blunted a slice of the storm, but repulsion bit deeper. Silver needles tore cloth and skin. Lines of red beaded across his frame and left him ragged.
"Instructor!"
"Zephyr!"
Sakazuki and Borsalino shouted together.
Even Iron Body had not fully held.
Stray needles sliced outward, clipping several cutthroat pirates on the fringes. They dropped where they stood.
Silence fell like a curtain.
"Three of them, and they still got worked?"
"Where did this guy come from? He is on Whitebeard's level."
"Monster. He is a monster."
