A Loud noise hits my ear as I slowly wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off, I look to my side and see the day [ 8/20/2457] the I look at the time [8:46] , and realized that today is the day where I can see my Fatum and hopefully my Aetherion.
As I leap out of bed getting ready to wake up my twin sister
"Imouto, Imouto, wake up, wake up"
In a tired voice "What?"
"We can finally got to the doctor to get our Aetherion checked out."
And as if on que my twin sister wakes up.
"Well what are waiting for let's wake up mom and dad so we can get our Aetherion check"
"Well of course why do you think I woke you up"
"Why?"
"It's so we can wake up mom and dad together"
And as I say those words my sister looks at me and hugs me with a happy smile saying " that's why you are the best brother."
And I hug my sister back saying " well what are we waiting for let's go wake up mom and dad up."
Both of us running in the hallway to go wake up mom and dad together, being annoying children at our parents.
"Mom, Dad wake up" as our parents respond with a groan, waking our mom up, "why are you shaking us"
As me and my sister respond at the same time "today is our day to check for our Fatum", as my mom sighs to us smiling " we'll go and eat then we can go to the doctor then okay" as we responded "okay"
Me and my sister runs down stairs getting cereal to eat as we wait for our mom and dad to come down stairs.
Five minutes go by, and we see our mom coming downstairs, as me and my sister run to our mom hugging her then we tell her let's go as we try to drag her to the car.
"Hold on kids I got to eat first then we can go okay"
As me and my sister look down saying "okay" back to our mom.
As Some times pass we are in the waiting room for our doctor to come and get us I whisper to my sister.
"Hey sis" as she responds back whispering too "what is it!"
"Whatever Fatum we get we will always be siblings right?"
"Of course we will be siblings no matter what we get okay" as she smiles.
I smile back "Okay sis"
The doctors comes out calling our family "are the Tairo here"
As we hear our last name being called we run to doctors examinate in our voice "it's us"
As the doctor is surprised by us being fast like we are a cartoon characters "okay, okay let's wait for your mom to be here for a second then we can go inside to get you check your Duomythos"
As we give the doctor a confused face, the doctor realized we have not learn what Duomythos yet and just tells us.
"That's what it's called when you have both, Fatum and Aethrion in your system and don't worry kids most people do have a Duomythos, but even then most people don't mind if you only have one especially if you are a kid since some of them are not born with a Aethrion since you will get it with your Fatum as you grow with your Aethrion."
The doctor sees our mom behind us and greets her, as we walk in to the doctors room he tells us " I will have to put a needle in your arm so we can get your Fatum and Aetherion since both of you were not born with a Aetherion."
As the doctor says that he gets a needle and my sister looks scared, so I put my hand out first so I can show my sister that needles aren't that scary.
"Well aren't you a brave one getting yours first then your sister you both will definitely be great hero duos one day"
As the doctor gets my blood I flinched a little but afterword I showed her that the needle is not scary and she then puts her hands out and gets blood from her but had not flinched one bit from the needle being put in her arm.
"How do she not flinched by the needles" as I say in my head brushing it off.
The doctor goes back then comes back and asks us "What do you both want to be since the machines is going to take a bit"
We both look at the doctor and say "we are going to be the number one hero" as I look at my sister and she looks back at me as we both start to playfully argue about one of us being the number one hero.
As both mom and the doctor start to sweat from the arguing that is happening between us, we hear a ding that came from the back and the doctor starts to going to the back.
The doctor comes back surprised but sad at the same time and the doctor says, "I have good news and bad news what do you want to hear first."
As my mom is getting a little tense from what is happening my mom says " we want the good news"
The doctor sighs then says "well the good news is that your daughter has not Fatum and Aetherion which makes her a Duomythos, and not only that but it seems like she has both of your power and seems to be able to do more if she trains but I would recommend to wait until after middle school since there seems to be an anomaly with your daughter Duomythos"
And as we celebrate my sister being a Duomythos I remember there was bad news and I ask the doctor "then what's the bad news!"
The room goes silent and the doctor says "I am sorry young one but you do not have a Fatum and Aetherion making you powerless" as my world start to spin and both my mom and sister are surprised I ask "can I get it in the future" asking the doctor holding back tears the doctor says "you cannot because of how your body is, making you not allowed to have power because it is most similar to people before Duomythos and we have check those people know and they still don't have a Fatum or a Aetherion" and as I hear those words I start to tear up knowing I will never be a hero
We step out of the hospital quite me in my most defeated state I could ever be I ask my mom "can I ever be a hero just like the hero Kibo" as I cry my eyes out from the news and my sister trying to convince me not to give up and says
"Remember what the doctor said we can be a duo with power or not okay" as I sniffed from my nose remembering what the doctor said and agreeing with her.
"I wished I had a Fatum or a Aetherion" as I say in my head
But for a while I had cling onto my sister words, but the world does not stop for nobody especially someone like me, I had gotten bully by my old friends then by my own sister and had even been ignored by the teacher.
