The pirates surged through the massive gap Whitebeard's devastating blow had torn open.
"They're all furious now…" Aokiji muttered calmly.
"How scary," Kizaru drawled, still as nonchalant as ever.
Luffy sprinted toward the execution platform, arms stretching forward with his rubber powers, desperate to reach it.
"ACE!!!"
"I'm coming for you!!!"
But suddenly, a black wall shot up in front of him, cutting off his charge.
"What the—?!" Luffy's eyes widened in shock.
The entire bay was sealed off by towering black walls.
The pirates struck at them with everything they had, but the walls didn't even tremble.
Only where Oars had fallen did blood seep into the cracks, preventing the walls from rising completely.
Whitebeard locked onto that opening. "There's still a chance."
"Enough waiting. Akainu—do it," Sengoku ordered.
Akainu stepped forward, radiating a suffocating pressure. His arm transformed into molten magma, and the air around him swelled with heat.
In an instant, the magma erupted violently, like a volcano bursting open.
"Meteor Volcano!!!"
Fiery blasts shot skyward, glowing like burning meteors, terrifying to behold.
The magma fists soared into the heavens, then vanished. The clouds turned pitch black, roiling like a storm about to tear the sky apart, thunder rumbling deep inside.
A dreadful sound rolled overhead. One by one, blazing meteors reappeared—this time falling, like a rain of fire.
As they plummeted closer, each meteor transformed into a colossal fist of molten rock.
"There's nowhere to run," Sengoku declared coldly. "The ice will melt beneath you, and you'll have no place left to stand."
The magma fists hammered down, shattering ice into boiling steam and igniting pirate ships in roaring flames.
Screams echoed across the bay. Whitebeard's face darkened as rage boiled within him.
His aura swelled, power surging into his fist until the very air cracked apart. With a thunderous blow, he unleashed it against the black wall.
BOOM!!!
The shockwave dented the wall, energy exploding outward like a hurricane, forcing both pirates and marines alike to shield their eyes.
But impossibly—the wall held.
"No way… Even Pops' attack didn't break it!" pirates gasped, stunned.
Akainu's expression twisted grimly. "Let's put an end to this."
Another torrent of magma fists blasted from his arms, carving through the battlefield. The pirates suffered brutal losses.
Behind them, the proud flagship of the Whitebeard Pirates, the Moby Dick, took a direct hit.
"Put out the fire! Hurry!" pirates shouted desperately.
They scrambled to save the vessel that had carried them through countless voyages with their brothers and Ace.
Akainu sneered. "Whitebeard… your era is over."
The once-mighty Moby Dick—the ship that had been their home for decades—was reduced to burning wreckage under Akainu's relentless assault.
"No… our ship… the pride of the Whitebeard Pirates…" Tears and disbelief filled their eyes.
Whitebeard stared at the inferno consuming his beloved vessel and at the falling pirate flag, charred and broken. His voice rumbled low. "Forgive me…"
"Commence Ace's execution at once!" Sengoku barked.
The Whitebeard Pirates' faces twisted with fury and despair. The black wall now cut them off from Ace completely.
"We can't just let him die where we can't even see him!" someone shouted.
There was only one way through now—the path Oars had carved with his sacrifice.
Luffy bolted toward it with everything he had.
"ACE!!!"
The pirates rallied behind him, charging toward that single narrow opening.
But the marines were ready. Every cannon was already aimed straight at the gap.
The instant the pirates rushed in, a storm of gunfire and explosions tore into them, screams ripping through the battlefield.
Still—they did not stop.
They had only one thought, one reason to keep moving:
"Save Ace!!!"
Luffy charged straight ahead—only to be blown back by a cannonball.
He staggered to his feet, vision swimming. "Ace!!!"
"Fire!!" Sengoku's order thundered across the battlefield.
Two more cannon blasts detonated right in front of him, flinging Luffy through the air like a ragdoll.
"Ace!!!"
Splash!
Luffy plunged into the sea.
"Begin the execution," Sengoku's cold voice rang out.
The ground shook violently, and every pair of eyes snapped wide in shock.
Oars—who had been lying motionless all this time—slowly began to rise.
The tremors even roused Luffy, but for a Devil Fruit user, the ocean is merciless. He blacked out again instantly.
Just then, a figure appeared and dragged him back to the surface.
Oars loomed up like a mountain, the navy soldiers before him nothing more than ants.
"Ace!!! I'll protect Ace!!!"
…
"You alright, Luffy? That was reckless, even for you," Jinbei said, worry in his voice.
"Prepare the cannons!" Sengoku barked. The barrels all swung toward Oars once again.
A storm of cannonfire slammed into him.
"Oars!!!"
And still, fueled by sheer willpower, he pushed himself upright again.
"What incredible tenacity. Well then—leave it to me," Kizaru muttered as he stepped forward, golden light gathering at his fingertips.
"We need to wrap up this execution quickly. Best way's to blow a hole right through his head."
The battlefield was drowned in blinding radiance as Kizaru unleashed his power.
"It's over!!!"
But just as hope seemed lost, a roar tore through the chaos:
"Ocean Suplex!!!"
Jinbei seized the seawater itself, shaping it into a raging dragon that came crashing down upon the battlefield.
And riding its crest, holding a wooden spear high, was none other than Straw Hat Luffy.
"LUFFY!!!"
The sight was breathtaking—water surging across the war-torn plaza, and in the middle of it stood Luffy, spear in hand, facing down the three Admirals with unshakable resolve.
No wonder they called him a Supernova. Straw Hat Luffy.
…
In the world of One Piece…
"Luffy's standing against all three Admirals?!" The Straw Hat crew stared wide-eyed at the screen.
"No… no, he'll be killed!" Nami looked ready to faint.
Big Mom chuckled in approval. "So the Straw Hat boy dares to defy the Admirals, eh? That's guts, I'll give him that."
Red-Haired Shanks grinned ear to ear. "I knew I bet on the right man. Raise hell, Luffy!"
…
In the world of Saint Seiya…
"So this… this is war, Miss Saori?" Seiya's face was pale with shock.
Athena stayed silent. Even as the goddess of war, she had never lived through one herself—she had no answer.
…
In the world of Bleach…
Ichigo clenched his fists. "The Navy's filthy. Why won't they fight fair, one-on-one?"
But in this world, only victory defines justice. Who cares about fairness?
…
In the world of Digimon…
"Luffy's throwing his life away just to save his brother…" Yamato whispered, staring at his determined expression.
"Don't worry, Takeru," he added softly. "If you were ever in danger, I'd do the same for you."
"…"
