Chapter 170 - "Twice Betrayed: The Bait and the Seal"

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Urahara Kisuke adjusted his hat with a crooked smile. "Hey, nobody said you looked ugly."

Aizen's gaze was cold. "You've fused with the Hōgyoku, haven't you?"

"Not fused," Aizen replied calmly, "it's more like... it has submitted to me."

"The same Hōgyoku you once couldn't control," Urahara said, watching him carefully.

"Couldn't control?" Aizen raised a brow. "Perhaps back then… but—"

"Back then?" Urahara interrupted lightly.

Aizen's tone hardened. "Still clinging to the past? It doesn't matter whether you've learned your lesson or not. For me, it changes nothing."He smiled faintly. "Because you've already—"

In an instant, Aizen was in front of Urahara. His zanpakutō pierced straight through Urahara's chest.

"—lost the right to ever control the Hōgyoku again."

But before Aizen could even pull the blade free, Urahara's body turned into a black balloon—then exploded!

Aizen froze. A hand pressed against his back.

"Bakudō #61: Six Rods Light Prison!"

Golden rods of light clamped around Aizen's body. Urahara reappeared a few steps away, eyes sharp behind his hat's brim.

Aizen's voice was calm, almost amused. "So, this is that gadget you used during your fight with Yammy?"

Before Urahara could answer, a massive explosion went off behind him. Smoke and fire burst through the air, and he was sent tumbling down from the sky.

Yammy's laughter echoed above. "Want me to tell you what that was?"

"That was a Cero Bala!" he roared."It's a technique that hardens your own reiryoku and launches it at your enemy! Not as powerful as a Cero, but twenty times faster!"

His massive fist glowed with deadly energy as he hurled another Bala toward Urahara's falling form.

BOOM!

But Urahara's voice came from behind him. "You're about to make Aizen-sama angry."

Yammy spun around, swinging his huge arm—but his punch hit nothing but air. Urahara had vanished again.

"You bastard!" Yammy growled. "Why are you still alive?!"

Urahara raised his zanpakutō, smiling. "You're asking why I'm not dead?"

"The answer's simple."

He pulled out another black balloon, blowing it up in seconds. It transformed into a perfect copy of himself.

"Portable Gigai."

Aizen's eyes narrowed. "I see. I underestimated you. I should've expected such petty tricks from you, Urahara."

He flexed his arms, breaking the light prison with a surge of spiritual pressure. "But do you really think a Bakudō of that level can restrain me?"

Urahara's grin widened. "That level?"

"Who told you it ends there?"

"Bakudō #63: Chain Bind!"

Golden chains shot out, coiling tightly around Aizen.

"Bakudō #79: Ninefold Binding of Light!"

Dark energy erupted around Aizen, forming black, swirling voids that pulled him in like miniature singularities.

A flicker of surprise crossed Aizen's face.

Urahara lifted his zanpakutō, beginning a long, incantatory chant. "Hands of a thousand, untouchable by darkness...Bows of heaven that no reflection can capture…Let the path of brilliance fall, the wind of sparks ignite…"

Around him, pink spiritual orbs began to form, glowing fiercely.

"Shining orbs of light—Eighth Form: Grand Wheel of Gray Towers!"

He raised his hand high. "Draw the bow toward the horizon and let it vanish into purity!"

Aizen frowned. "You think I'll just stand here and let you finish that? Such a spell—"

"Too late!" Urahara shouted. "Hadō #91: Senju Kōten Taihō!"

The sky lit up with a blinding pink explosion. BOOM! The blast split the heavens, a massive cross of light piercing the clouds. Thunder rolled as the shockwave swept across the battlefield.

Ichigo stared upward, awestruck. "That was… incredible!"

As the smoke spread through the air, Urahara spoke quietly, "Aizen… looks like that Hōgyoku power's made you overconfident."

A voice came from behind him—calm, cold, and terrifying. "You're right."

Urahara's eyes widened. He turned just in time to see Aizen, half of his face already hollowfied.

"Too late," Aizen said.

He swung his blade, and blood splattered the ground.

"Overconfidence doesn't matter anymore. There's no reason to defend or fear anything now."

"I can feel it—the Hōgyoku has truly submitted to my body. My power far surpasses what I once had in Soul Society."

"Even a level-90 spell isn't worth dodging anymore."

Urahara clutched his wound but didn't back down. "No, you're wrong."

"Your overconfidence isn't because you resisted my spell…"

"It's because the old you would never have let me touch you twice without a plan."

Suddenly, Aizen's arms were bound again, glowing with immense spiritual seals. His eyes widened. "What—what is this?!"

Urahara adjusted his hat. "A seal."

"I've locked the reiryoku outlets in both your hands. Your own spiritual pressure will consume you from within."

Aizen's body began to shine with blinding purple light. The air rippled, energy surging like a living aurora that swallowed him whole. The sky twisted into an oval of pure, terrifying brilliance.

...

Bullet Chat:

Deidara (Naruto world): "Explosion! That guy Urahara gets it—art is an explosion!"

Naruto: "Wait, don't tell me that Aizen's gonna walk out of that smoke again?"

Ichigo (Bleach): "Shopkeeper's seriously amazing. None of the captains are easy to mess with."Aizen (Bleach): "If not for the Hōgyoku, I might've actually lost to him."

Kakashi (Naruto): "So he's been acting the whole time… impressive."

Kagome (Inuyasha): "This Urahara and Ichigo's dad are way stronger than those earlier captains!"

Kyoraku (Bleach): "Still sharp as ever, that Urahara. Aizen got played hard this time."

...

When the screen cleared, Urahara was descending slowly from the sky, landing beside Ichigo.

"Mr. Urahara!" Ichigo ran up to him.

Urahara shook his head. "Not done yet."

"If it ended that easily, it'd be way too cute, don't you think?""That would've just made him a regular monster.""He's about to come out."

And right on cue, Aizen stepped out from the glowing wreckage. The Hōgyoku embedded in his abdomen pulsed with an eerie purple light. His skin had turned white, his form inhuman, with only a pair of violet eyes shining through.

Ichigo's eyes widened. "W-what the hell is that…?"

Aizen looked down at the glowing golden seal on his wrist. "You used a level-90 spell as bait to provoke me into attacking," he said evenly."Then tried to burn me from within with your custom technique."

"If I were anyone else—no, if I hadn't already mastered the Hōgyoku—this fight would've ended there."

"But unfortunately for you, the Hōgyoku you created has evolved beyond your understanding."

He tore the golden seal from his arm. "You made this for fighting me, didn't you? Too bad—it's useless."

Urahara raised his zanpakutō, his expression turning serious.

Aizen, now fully cloaked in white, smirked. "When the tricks fail, you fall back on the sword, huh?"

The two pointed their blades at each other, tension thick in the air.

The real battle was just about to begin.

"..."
