Chapter 210 - – “Setsuna Returns to the Pure Land, and the Drama Nears Its End!”

Uchiha Setsuna's lips dripped with blood.

His aged face was twisted with rage, his eyes burning with fury and killing intent.

His breathing was ragged, his body trembling slightly—

a stark contrast to Tekka's calm, steady gaze, brimming with cold murderous resolve.

In Tekka's hand, the kunai gleamed. His scarlet eyes narrowed into a mocking smile.

Trade a few words for my mercy? As if.

"Heh, thanks for the advice.

But unlike you, always scheming for power, I care only for Uchiha's future.

If my death could ensure our clan's rise, I'd gladly give it.

But the one who can lead us forward… is my master, Uchiha Kai.

Even if one day he turns his blade on me, I'll accept it.

But you? You're just a rotten relic. Keeping you alive would only endanger us all.

Uchiha's bright future mustn't be polluted by the likes of you.

So—prepare yourself. Kill!"

With a sharp instant-step, Tekka vanished.

When he reappeared, he was behind Setsuna.

His three-tomoe eyes spun as the kunai cut cleanly across the elder's throat.

Setsuna froze.

He had seen the attack coming—his own three tomoe tracked every movement—but his frail body could no longer keep up.

Blood sprayed, and he crumpled to the ground.

But a heartbeat later—his body vanished.

"Izanagi, of course." Tekka's tone was flat.

"You've only got two eyes left. That's two extra lives. I'll take them all."

He wasn't surprised.

An Uchiha elder, head of the militants, had to know Izanagi. If Setsuna hadn't, that would have been the real joke.

So Tekka simply waited, a scarlet gaze sweeping the courtyard.

Two minutes later, he spotted Setsuna again—trying to scale the courtyard wall, fleeing toward the village.

"Uchiha Setsuna!" Tekka roared. "You won't escape. Accept death!"

With another flash, he closed the distance in two seconds flat.

The kunai spun in his fingers, then bit across Setsuna's throat once more.

Setsuna's eyes bulged.

"You…"

He wanted to speak, but no words came. Blood poured from his mouth as his hands clutched helplessly at his throat.

Then he collapsed, lifeless.

"One more life."

Tekka's tone was as calm as ever.

The old man had one eye left. Tekka would make good on his promise to Kai—Setsuna would die tonight.

Two minutes later—

He found him again.

But this time, blind in both eyes, Setsuna didn't run.

He simply dropped to his knees, shaking all over.

"Tekka… I beg you.

Spare me. I've lost both eyes—I'm no threat to you.

I'll obey from now on, I'll never cause trouble again.

I was an elder once. I contributed to the clan. You can't kill me!"

The once-proud militant leader was now a pitiful, groveling wretch.

Tekka's face twisted in disgust, his whole body trembling with fury.

"Uchiha Setsuna!

We are a proud clan. We die standing—we do not live on our knees.

Look at yourself! You shame the very name Uchiha.

I'll kill you, and I'll keep your disgrace secret.

Count yourself lucky."

Rage boiling, Tekka slashed once more.

The kunai cut deep, and he turned his back as Setsuna's lifeless body slumped to the ground.

This time, it stayed there. No Izanagi. No revival.

Uchiha Setsuna was dead.

Elsewhere in the courtyard—

Shisui's faction was in tatters.

Two of their Jounin lay dead, another gravely wounded. Dozens of Chunin and Genin had fallen.

If Fugaku hadn't deliberately held back, they'd already have been annihilated.

At that moment—

Kai, his sharpened senses spread across the battlefield, felt Setsuna's chakra vanish.

The elder was gone. The play had reached its climax.

He gave Shisui a few shallow wounds, made him cough blood, left him looking battered—then signaled that it was time to retreat.

Shisui understood.

He dismissed his Susanoo and rushed back to Setsuna's compound.

What he found left his heart heavy—blood everywhere, bodies scattered, comrades broken.

He had known, last night, that there would be casualties today.

But seeing it in person… was another matter.

His chest tightened. He couldn't hold back his voice.

"Stop this, all of you!" Shisui shouted.

"We are family! Too many have already died—there's no need for more bloodshed!

I'll take my people and leave the clan if I must.

Fugaku, Kai—don't force me.

My strength may not match yours, but if I fight with my life, you won't escape unscathed!

So—shall we call a truce?"
