Taro and Mexus are seen walking in the dreamscape "so where we going Mexus?" Taro asks
"It's a surprise Taro" Mexus tries to make his voice mysterious
"Okay that's cool and all but half of it's not really a surprise all that much since I know it's gonna involve a place for training"
Mexus gets a bit frustrated "ugh would you shut the hell up and follow me"
Taro puts his hands behind his head and turns his head away while he walks" My bad" Taro stops for a moment pretending hes done taking but finishes the sentence" *Goldie**"
Mexus gets frustrated but doesn't talk
Suddenly there is somewhere that looks like a warehouse
"Alright this is the place" Mexus stops looking at the warehouse
Taro is a bit disappointed "there's no way I'm going to train a warehouse man , have you ever never read a manga or something man usually training arcs are supposed to be exciting but I feel like the chances are low if we do it in a warehouse man"
"That might be true" but Mexus suddenly mysteriously smirks but whoever said this was a warehouse?"
Suddenly Mexus grabs a key and opens the warehouse suddenly there is a light inside to bright to see what's inside
Taro suddenly gasps with excitement . Mexus slowly walks to Taro putting his hand on his shoulder "you ready for this Taro ?"
"I was born ready" Taro eyes glowing with excitement
"Then let's goooooo" Mexus says as Taro runs inside mid sentence
"Yeaaah"
And so the exciting training place started or at least Taro thought?
Taro is seen staring up with his face looking like he stepped on poop "what the "
Mexus suddenly appears too in front of Taro "so how do you like it?"
"I take back what I said earlier i think the warehouse might have been a better place " suddenly Taro stops and completes his sentence"because we'll here is pretty ummm what do I use to describe it?"
"Empty" Taro completes his sentence. Suddenly the scene gives a full zoom on the scenery revealing that it just looks like an impossible amount of wide space devoid of colour (defaulting it as white)
"Heh"Mexus smirks and goes in front of Taro "so what do you think this is"
"Aaaa big white empty space" Taro replies
Mexus puts one finger on his chin"Well yeah I guess it is a big white empty space" but he changes his voice again
"This is a special secret place made by the Nertis , it's a sub space but still a dream " Mexus then lowers his voice and smirks"but here's the interesting part you get to mould this dimension as long as you have these" Mexus raises the keys from earlier
Suddenly the space is filled with mountains,trees waterfalls and ground as with clear blue skies
Taro's jaw hung. No snark, no protest—just pure, childlike wonder.
"Still think this is gonna be boring?"Mexus asks knowing he's won this battle of interesting scenery. Taro gives a simple nod indicating "no"
"Well that's good cause now you'll have lots of stamina,sooo I'm gonna need 8 sets"
"8 sets of what" Taro still in awe looking at the scenery
"Of a thousand pushups" Mexus says nonchalant
"What" Taro immediately snapped back to reality "you want me to do a thousand pushups??? And 8 sets of it??"
"Well seems like you heard right , better get working" Mexus is saying this completely normal as if saying it's to walk your dog in the park
,"what no way, you can't be serious"
Mexus suddenly gets serious "hey either this or you become the Nertis certified lab rat"
"Tsk " Taro gets on the ground and starts getting ready but suddenly Mexus leaves and comes back with rope and paper???
"What with the pen and some paper" Taro still in his posture
"Oh the rope it'll be used to hold the papers down to make it harder for you"
"Pfft" Taro laughs "okay I knowing do 8 sets of a thousand pushups us hard but what the hell is the paper gonna do-" before Taro finishes Mexus drops all the paper down on him which causes Taro to nearly collapse causing Taro to cough blood
"Ahhhh" *taro coughs blood * "Mexus what the hell"Taro panting seriously his voice barely above a whisper
"Remember I can shape this sub space with the keys so I made it so that all the paper here weighs 500,000 pounds and I just dropped 10 sheets of paper on you so that's about 5 million pounds on your back "
Surprisingly Taro is still on his posture" Mexus you can't be serious the 8,000 pushups weren't enough? Now I have to do with 5,000,000 pounds on me back? " Taro asks him barely being able to move
"Yup and I want it done in not less then 1 hour " Mexus smiles and walks away "well I guess I'll see you later after that get ready for the rest cause today hasn't even started " Mexus paused, voice low. "The Nertis won't take 'almost strong enough.' You need to break limits—or they'll break you."
"T-This training.....its gonna be the death of me " Taro flinches until he finally collapsed which causes the ground to break cause of the weight
"Remember not more then 2 hours" Mexus vanished into the artificial sunlight, whistling.
Taro looks at him walking with his faint consciousness.His hands glowed emerald, cracking the ground beneath him. "I'll... kill you..." he spat, blood mixing with radiant light. The last thing Taro saw: Mexus' boots, and white. So much white. Stronger cliffhanger.
Mexus watched him collapse, keys gleaming. "Good. Hate me. Fear them. Just don't quit, because 30 days isn't long, kid."
