Chapter 41 - Two Other Jutsu

"Kakashi, my eternal rival!" Obito stammered, his face flushed red. "In the name of youthful passion, let's have a duel!"

Guy's lines were so cringeworthy that Obito, still clinging to his sense of shame as a sentient being, struggled to utter them.

But remembering Guy's vow-based training method, he gritted his teeth and forced out the humiliating words.

"I-if I lose, I'll run fifty laps around Konoha!"

Obito's taijutsu was significantly weaker than Guy's, so half the distance seemed fair.

This made perfect sense.

Raj nodded inwardly, proud of his quick wit and persuasive skills.

Kakashi froze, stunned.

'What's going on? Isn't this guy an Uchiha? How did he suddenly become Guy 2.0?'

He glanced at Obito, then at Guy.

Obito extended his hand, ready to play rock-paper-scissors like Guy had earlier.

After a long silence, Kakashi looked into the distance and said,

"Let's try something different this time. We'll test our eyesight."

"Eyesight?" Obito paused, confused.

The Uchiha clan prided themselves on their eyes.

Obito wore goggles every day, believing he would one day awaken the Sharingan and wanting to protect his eyes until then.

'He wants to test our eyesight...? Does he think our eyes are weak?'

Obito's imagination ran wild, and he immediately grew furious.

"Bring it on! I'm not afraid of anyone!" he shouted.

"Excellent. Let's move a bit further away," Kakashi said calmly.

Raj sighed inwardly.

'You can't trust a word this guy says. You have to seize the initiative yourself. If Obito let Kakashi set the challenge, he'd basically already lost. That guy would make a turtle race a dog just to win - there's no limit to his schemes.'

Sure enough.

"See that shop near the Hokage Building?"

"Mm," Kakashi replied.

"There's a character on the balcony railing over there. Can you make it out?" Kakashi asked calmly.

Obito widened his eyes but still couldn't see it.

He had to move closer, but remembering their duel, he forced himself back and pushed up his goggles.

Still nothing.

Frustrated, he muttered, "It's too far away. There's no way to see it."

Kakashi's eyes narrowed slightly.

"It's the character for 'fortune,'" he said, turning to leave.

"You can see that from this distance?" Obito rubbed his eyes, questioning his own senses.

"He's incredible! Kakashi truly is my eternal rival."

Guy, watching from the sidelines, was visibly excited.

Raj sighed.

'Well, he must have seen it beforehand.'

'These two idiots are being completely played by Kakashi. But no matter-they have the stamina. Fifty laps, a hundred laps-it's nothing. They'll finish it later. Then we'll come back.'

Raj resolved that as long as Kakashi kept blocking his escape, he wouldn't let the boy off the hook.

Before long, Raj led the pair back to Kakashi.

Kakashi remained silent.

Desperate, Raj devised a new "duel" to keep them occupied, but their speed was too great.

They found him again in no time.

By the end of the first day, Raj had managed to extract three to four hundred points from Kakashi.

Not a huge amount, but just enough to cover his expenses.

No problem.

It was only the first day, after all.

There were plenty more days to come.

The second day.

Rin continued to leave Raj in the care of Guy and Obito.

She was determined to fleece Kakashi dry, pushing him to the point of exasperation until he actively cooperated with their escape plans.

Kakashi's patience was remarkable.

It wasn't until the third day that he began to show signs of cracking under the relentless harassment.

By the fourth day...

Kakashi finally snapped.

He started hiding everywhere, but with Raj acting as a "guide," he had no chance of evading capture unless he fled the village entirely.

As a result, he began contributing massive amounts of points to Raj's tally.

By the sixth day, his contributions had swelled Raj's total to five thousand points-and that was while still eating Cat Food daily.

Without it, he would have reached his goal much sooner.

The Ninja Cat Special Food was the key to Raj's rapid growth in Chakra and physical prowess.

While Ninjutsu could wait, the Cat Food was non-negotiable.

Having consumed it consistently, the food's effects were now kicking in fully.

Combined with his age-related growth spurt, Raj felt himself growing stronger every day.

The key was still this Ninjutsu.

Raj had been eyeing it for a long time.

At one point, he even considered giving up and exchanging for a low-level Illusion Technique or Wind Release Ninjutsu.

But after careful consideration, he realized he needed a Ninjutsu capable of threatening even stronger enemies.

The battlefield was nothing like missions.

When the village assigned missions, they generally wouldn't exceed the team members' rank by too much.

But on the battlefield, who cared if you were a rookie?

If you crossed paths, even a three- or four-year-old child wearing a ninja vest and headband would kill you just the same.

The enemies could range from Genin to Jonin, even Kage-no one could predict what they'd face.

Raj knew he stood no chance against Jonin or Kage, but he at least needed a technique to take down Chunin.

The Rasengan was a must-have.

Of course, if he had enough Chakra and Points, he might have held out longer and aimed for a Tailed Beast Ball instead...

That night, he tested it out.

The single-claw Rasengan came effortlessly.

Any claw, even his mouth, could unleash the Rasengan with decent power.

Used skillfully, it could take down not just Chunin, but even Jonin would fall if they took a direct hit.

Most importantly, it was incredibly discreet.

People might fear Minato and his disciples, but who would suspect that even a cat in their team could wield the Rasengan, a ninjutsu of such extreme difficulty?

After testing it out, Raj returned home and browsed Google.

Based on the marketplace data, he surmised that his primary Chakra affinities were Wind and Earth, followed by Water.

Yin and Yang attribute transformation ninjutsu seemed to be priced similarly.

Logically, his next step should be to acquire an Illusion Technique, such as the Hell Viewing Technique.

The Hell Viewing Technique allows users to show their targets visions of death, perfectly aligning with the Bully System's need to accumulate Points.

However, he also coveted two other ninjutsu:

- The Wild Lion's Mane Technique

- The Expansion Jutsu

Both the Hell Viewing Technique and the Wild Lion's Mane Technique cost 3,000 Points each, but the Expansion Jutsu required a staggering 6,000 Points-even more than the Rasengan.

After pondering for a long time, Raj concluded that accumulating Points was paramount.

With enough Points, anything was possible; without them, he'd just be another one of those "window shoppers who never buy anything" just like his mom always complained about.
