Chapter 80 - Wind Release

Guy's team was a textbook Genin squad, lacking exceptional combat skills.

They typically handled tasks like catching cats and fetching water, ready to interrupt their missions and return to the village at a moment's notice if required.

Since Guy was forming a team for the Chunin Exams, he had undoubtedly returned to the village by now.

'It's safer at home anyway...'

Midway through its thoughts, Raj was abruptly interrupted by a violent spatial distortion.

'What's going on?'

Raj remained stunned for a moment.

Before it could react, it had already been teleported to another location-a place of lush green mountains and forests, and...

"Finally, we meet again, Little Black Cat! Let's fight side-by-side and spill some blood together!"

The familiar voice.

Turning its head, Raj saw the familiar attire, the prominent teeth, and that seemingly innocent expression.

Raj froze for a second, then shifted its gaze from Guy to the surrounding people.

It wasn't just Rin and Obito.

"Hey, long time no see, Raj!"

Kurenai waved from a short distance away, her smile radiant and beautiful.

Beside her stood Asuma, hesitant to approach, and Hana Inuzuka, chatting with her two ninja dogs on the side.

These were likely the three strongest members of Rin's graduating class, aside from Kakashi and their own team.

'What's going on?'

"Raj, this is a practice match, so hold back. Don't seriously injure them, okay?"

Minato stood nearby, smiling faintly.

"Meow~," Raj let out a weak cry, then glanced at the three humans and the two dogs.

One of the dogs was Haimaru.

Noticing Raj's gaze, Haimaru immediately bared its teeth and let out a low, menacing growl.

Raj perked up instantly.

'This little brat's gotten bold after being away for a while, daring to bare its fangs at the Boss?'

It sharpened its claws, ready to remind these two dumb dogs who was in charge.

'Besides...'

'Maybe I can snag some Points from him too,' Raj thought to himself.

"In a moment, I'll..."

"Charge!" Guy suddenly shouted.

In the next instant, the green blur had already shot forward, charging toward the three humans and two dogs.

Obito froze for a moment, then scrambled to follow.

Rin sighed helplessly.

"Let's go too."

"Meow!"

'You can't discuss tactics with a rare beast.'

"They're really underestimating us, aren't they?" Asuma muttered under his breath, his hand instinctively reaching for the Flying Swallow chakra blade behind him, his eyes sharpening instantly.

For an ordinary ninja, acquiring such a blade might be a lifelong pursuit, but Asuma had received it from his clan upon graduation.

Seeing Asuma's ostentatious display, Raj resolved to deal with the two foolish dogs first, then give Asuma a good thrashing.

'Pay-to-win players are so annoying.'

"Let's go!" Asuma declared, gripping the Flying Swallow in a ready stance.

"Good luck," Kurenai said, leaping backward.

She rapidly formed hand seals, anticipating Obito's charge and preparing to counter his attack.

News of Obito's Sharingan awakening had already spread among their graduating class.

Knowing the Sharingan's ability to counter Illusion Techniques, Kurenai focused her attention not on Obito, but on Guy.

Raj glanced at the scene, then dismissed the two fools with a shrug.

With Obito's current capabilities, even if the dimwitted A'Guy were caught in an Illusion Technique, he could activate his Sharingan and hold his own against both opponents for a short time.

Raj had no reason to worry.

Meanwhile, on Hana Inuzuka's side:

"Woof! Woof!"

Haimaru and another ninja dog barked fiercely before lunging forward.

In the two months since they last met, Haimaru had grown considerably larger, boosting his confidence.

But as they lunged at Raj, ready to tear it apart...

Slap! Slap!

Raj leaped up, his claws flashing twice.

Haimaru, taking the brunt of the attack, was sent sprawling to the ground.

The other ninja dog froze in shock, skidding to a halt and leaping back, its eyes wide with fear as it stared at Raj.

"Haimaru!" Hana Inuzuka cried out in alarm and terror.

Haimaru struggled to rise, but the force of the two slaps had left its head throbbing and disoriented.

Raj glanced down and pressed his foot against the dog's face.

The dog shuddered once and then lay still, feigning death.

Raj's raw physical strength alone wouldn't have been enough to knock Haimaru down so easily.

But with Chakra enhancement, his current strength made it a simple matter to subdue the still-weak ninja dog with two strikes.

Having dealt with one, the other dog had already retreated timidly to Hana Inuzuka's side.

"Sister Hana, he's fine," Rin said after examining Haimaru.

She knew the dog was faking death but didn't expose him, simply dragging him aside to prevent accidental injury.

"Thank you," Hana Inuzuka said, relieved.

"But now you'll see my true power. Be careful!"

She hadn't expected Raj to knock her beloved dog down with just two slaps.

Fortunately, she still had another...

Beast Mimicry Ninjutsu: Beast-Man Clone Technique!

Raj tilted his head toward A'Guy and the others.

"Rin, I've got this. Go help Guy-that idiot's been controlled."

"Uh, okay."

Rin didn't hesitate, turning and sprinting toward A'Guy.

"..." Hana Inuzuka felt completely ignored.

'A ninja cat? A ninja cat barely a year old thinks it can hold me and my ninja dog? I only need one ninja dog to...'

Boom!

Just as the thought crossed her mind, she saw her Beast-Man Clone, which had charged to attack Raj, become entangled in black cat fur.

With a ferocious "Miao-roar," the clone was slammed to the ground, reverting to its original form.

In the next instant, Raj fur rapidly grew, surging toward her.

Her Beast Mimicry Ninja Art granted her impressive speed, but even that couldn't match a cat's.

A cat's explosive speed far surpassed a dog's, and Raj's body had been greatly enhanced by Sage Art Chakra...

In a mere second, Raj leaped onto her back.

Then, a mass of fur wrapped around her body and neck, while sharp claws pressed against her throat.

"Meow~ You can't move now," Raj purred softly, then forcefully pushed off her back, launching himself forward.

The entangled fur instantly retracted.

Hana Inuzuka understood the cat's message.

If it had wanted to, the cat could have easily torn open her throat with its claws or sharp teeth just now.

On the battlefield, she would already be dead.

Glancing at Haimaru, who had suddenly sprung to life beside her.

Looking at the other dumbfounded dog, she couldn't help but sigh softly.

Losing a three-on-one fight to a cat was truly humiliating.

'Well, at least my reputation as a prodigy isn't based on combat prowess...'

She tried to console herself, but the more she thought about it, the more depressed she became.

She nearly burst into tears of frustration, but Hana Inuzuka's strong self-control kept her from actually crying.

After all, she was furious, and these two dumb dogs were still grinning foolishly at her.

For the first time, she found their faces utterly detestable.

Raj paid little attention to Hana Inuzuka's thoughts, as it was now charging toward Asuma.

"Watch out," Kurenai shouted, catching a glimpse of the black shadow darting forward from the corner of her eye.

But Raj was too fast.

Asuma braced himself, forming hand seals and exhaling a powerful gust of wind.

"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"

The Great Breakthrough technique wasn't particularly destructive, but it was effective for disrupting and restraining enemies.
