"Aqua, Aqua, look at this! This is Seiya Wenren and Marielle Hinokuchi's LINE accounts. Aren't you jealous? It's only my first day in the acting department, and I've already made so many friends. With your personality, you're probably still a loner, right?"
"If you ask me nicely, I'll send you their LINE accounts. Marielle Hinokuchi, the super popular actress! And Minami Kotobuki, she's a cute girl and a sexy G-cup gravure model!"
On the way home, a very happy Ruby Hoshino was constantly talking next to Aqua and showing off her impressive connections. Seiya Wenren and Marielle Hinokuchi were both A-list actors, and countless people wanted their social media accounts. But not everyone could get them. Ruby found that after she got Seiya's LINE, Minami had been smiling at her phone all day.
Aqua had not been paying attention to Ruby's bragging about her new friends until he heard the word "connections." He suddenly stopped.
"Can you send me Seiya Wenren's LINE?"
Ruby was stunned. She had offered Marielle's and Minami's, but her brother was not interested in the beautiful girls and wanted Seiya's. Could her brother be...
Of course, Aqua didn't want Seiya's LINE for the reason Ruby was thinking. He had suddenly realized that Seiya had been in the acting industry for years, and with his current popularity, he must have some serious connections. He had cracked Ai Hoshino's private phone and found a list of names. After years of investigation, Aqua believed the killer was on that list. But the people on the list were now big shots in the entertainment industry. It would be impossible for him, a high school student, to get close to them and investigate them. But with Seiya, it would be a different story. As a popular actor, Seiya had more opportunities to interact with these people. Aqua didn't want to get Seiya involved, but to get his revenge, he felt he had to.
"Seiya, you have to be home by 10 PM! And don't go to any shady places! If you get a girlfriend, you have to let us check her out first."
At around 8 PM, Seiya left the house after getting a ton of instructions from Yuko and Ako. They had questioned him for nearly an hour when they found out he was meeting a friend. They were relieved when they found out it was a boy. Their concerns were not unfounded. Although Seiya had many acquaintances, he had never made a real friend. His "friends" were just for show, and he rarely had a genuine connection with anyone. Kana Arima was an exception, but they had never met up outside of work.
Yuko and Ako were worried that a gold-digger would take advantage of their handsome, rich, and popular son. So they had been keeping a close eye on his private life to make sure he didn't go down the wrong path.
"Seiya just started at Yoto High. I hope his new friend isn't a bad person." Ako worried. The acting department at Yoto High was very different from the regular department. The students were more mature because of their work. They were also more likely to pick up the bad habits of the industry. Seiya was a popular actor, and his classmates were nobodies. If they could get some scandalous news out with him, they would instantly become famous. Ako knew that people would do anything to get famous. She had seen it all when she was a popular idol.
They had been protecting Seiya very well, and Seiya, a child actor, also knew about these things. But now, he was a young, hot-blooded man. It was not impossible for him to fall for a beautiful woman who threw herself at him.
After making sure Seiya had left, Ako and Yuko looked at each other and went into his room. The room was simple, with a bed, a computer, some movie posters, and a few anime figurines. Ever since middle school, Seiya had forbidden them from entering his room. But he didn't know that they both had spare keys and went into his room more often than he did.
When they entered the room, Yuko expertly went to his bed and found a hidden box. In the box were a bunch of large, white, and very "educational" manga, games, and DVDs.
"My Summer with My Sister. Garbage. What's so good about lolis?" Yuko said when she saw the first manga. She just glanced at the cover, called it garbage, and continued searching.
"The Stepmother's True Intentions? Older Women Are the Best? Hmm, this game and manga seem to have a lot of depth. I'll keep them."
While Yuko was looking through the box, Ako went to Seiya's computer in her wheelchair and turned it on. She smiled when she saw a family photo of them on the desktop. She then skillfully found his "learning materials" in his hidden folders.
