Chapter 10 - Where I flow [pt.2]

A sudden gush of water splashed onto my face. I winced from the sheer coldness of water onto my face. I remained still for a moment before opening my eyes once again just to meet with the vast and endlessness of the sea before me. As I take in a moment to ponder where, why, and how I'm here, it soon fades away but it doesn't matter since my mind feels at ease.

I lay mindlessly sprawled out on top of the water. There in the sky nothing new or cool like the loneliness my heart feels at random times for it just like my dreams: no meaning or purpose behind them.

After some time, I decide to swim although I know I won't travel very far. Unbeknownst to me, an eerie shadow seems to have appeared on the surface of the sea, in a close range near me. It may have seemed to me that it was apparently rising to surface, which is when my body seems to have gone limp out of fear or confusion.

The shadow began to become more and more apparent. And just like that I seem to have been swallowed or eaten. There I lay motionless somewhere while the pain became more unbearable leaving me with the only questions.

I again now lay sprawled somewhere, losing my consciousness. Dying. ...why?
