Chapter 150 - Chapter 150 Felsoul Hold

"These demons are coming from the southwest. Are you sure you still want to go?" Morhun followed behind Leylin, trying to dissuade him.

Leylin hadn't come to this new continent for sightseeing. Plus, in this continent there are areas where his system could sign into. He checked into his system and initiated the sign in process.

"Yes! My luck is really good! With this reward, gathering information should be easy now." Leylin inwardly thought.

Currently, he needed to figure out how these Burning Legion creatures traveled from the Broken Isles, where Sargeras' Tomb was located, to Suramar.

"That's right. If you're worried about your safety, you can hide first, or go back to your homeland, Highmountain." Leylin walked ahead of Morhun, maintaining a steady pace, not stopping despite Morhun's advice.

Morhun stroked his broad chin, frowned, and took a deep breath, saying, "Fine, I'll go with you, you madman. If these demonic creatures really come to our continent, it's hard to guarantee that our homeland won't be threatened."

After the mage and the tauren reached a consensus, they headed towards the southwestern region of Suramar.

According to Morhun, this area was once a natural barrier to the southwestern region of Suramar. During the War of the Ancient, this high-altitude land withstood the invasion of numerous demons into Suramar.

Although Leylin didn't know the exact details and history of this place, he was already relieved that Morhun could at least tell him its name.

On their journey towards the southern westward of Suramar, Leylin and Morhun discovered varying degrees of fel energy remnants on the smooth, green cobblestone path. It seemed the Burning Legion's creatures had spread from outside the western part of Suramar going inside little by little within the entire city of Suramar.

Traveling at night wasn't a wise choice. For Leylin and Morhun, traveling at night would avoid many dangers; at least when the Burning Legion's creatures approached, they would immediately see their dark green, glowing eyes.

Along the way, Leylin and Morhun encountered many ordinary-level demons, but these demons posed no threat to the mage and tauren. Morhun was also adept at dealing with these demons; his powerful arms and fists could tear a low-ranking demon apart. Such power was unseen among human warriors, maybe by orc warriors as well, as observed by Leylin.

Before the sun had even risen in the east, Leylin and Morhun finally arrived at Meredil.

After traversing the low hills and standing atop the western peak of the bastion, looking down at the open space below, Leylin and Morhun were astonished, as if they had discovered a new continent, watching in astonishment as the demons continuously converged.

The entire Felsoul Hold, stretching for tens of kilometers along its coastline and including the open spaces within the region, was teeming with the Burning Legion's demons!

These enormous numbers of demons far exceeded the number of demon soldiers encountered on the Broken Shore. What on earth had Gul'dan done at the Tomb of Sargeras?!

Within this region, some murloc stilt houses could still be seen on the flat open spaces, but now their stilt houses were ablaze with green fel energy. These little murlocs, who spoke their own language, 'Ulala,' had been forcibly infused with powerful fel energy by the Fel Lord.

The pale green and cyan skin of the murlocs began to change. Finally, the fel energy transformed the bodies of all the murlocs within the region, and these mutated murlocs joined the Legion's ranks.

Moreover, in the sparsely populated, rocky region within the stronghold, even the stable, towering rock formations were corrupted and controlled by high-ranking fel lords.

After the Burning Legion's demons arrived on this land, they used every means to unleash fel energy into the region. Whether it was moving creatures or immobile vegetation, everything was shrouded in a green, bloody shadow.

Even the rivers that flowed through this area were dyed green; the Burning Legion had completely corrupted this place, turning it into their base of operations.

Seeing this terrifying sight, Morhun immediately lowered his head and hid behind a boulder. "I must go back and tell the elders and the Highmountain Tribe that our continent is facing a life-or-death situation. We can't wait here any longer!"

"Those orc warlocks must have done something in Sargeras' Tomb, otherwise so many Legion creatures wouldn't be in this ruined stronghold." Leylin pondered carefully, unable to understand how these Legion creatures had arrived in Azeroth.

Could Gul'dan have opened a portal to the Twisting Nether?

No! Impossible. According to the normal timeline, Gul'dan died in Sargeras' Tomb. He had no intention of opening a portal, much less serving the Burning Legion.

Maybe this Gul'dan was from another timeline?!

"In any case, these powerful demons cannot be resisted by the dark, thin elves of Suramar alone. Come back to Highmountain with me; we can find the Highmountain Tribes help in my homeland!" Morhun said.

"Neither of you are leaving!" A calm, slightly cold voice came from behind Leylin and Morhun. A veiled female nightborne, accompanied by a squad of nightborne guards, stood before the mage and tauren.

With a wave of her hand, the tall captain of the guard, clad in dark purple armor and wielding a longsword, and his soldiers surrounded Morhun and Leylin.

Morhun clenched his fists and nudged Leylin with his shoulder, saying, "You heard what I said! We can't stay here any longer!"

Just as Leylin was about to retaliate, the female nightborne raised her hand, and countless pale blue magic matrices enveloped Leylin and Morhun.

Complete stillness! Within this strange magical space, Leylin couldn't even sense the passage of time. Or rather, within this magical space, time had been controlled by the female nightborne mage before him.

"She controls the element of time! We are now under her spell; our chances of winning are infinitely close to zero!" Leylin immediately thought.

"Take them away!" The female nightborne mage gently waved her left hand, and the entire irregular magical space instantly shrank, transforming into smiling magical hand seals that bound Leylin's wrists and neck.

The meaning of these hand seals was clear: if the controlled prisoners moved, their fate would be death.

"We are not your enemies, Nightborne Mage." Leylin said.

The female nightborne mage walked gracefully to Leylin, her pale purple eyes, gleaming with an eerie light, probing his gaze.

She wanted to use magic to probe my thoughts? Leylin immediately conjured a divine barrier of arcane energy to block the female mage's spell.

"Relax, I know you can use magic too. I won't harm you for now." The female nightborne mage smiled, looking at the special creature she had just captured.
