Kouga immediately bent the wind to his will, lifting Kiana, Mei, and Bronya off the ground as if they weighed nothing. Carried by powerful air currents, the group surged forward, chasing after Wendy as she fled.
While Kouga focused entirely on pursuing Wendy, the girls received a call from Theresa mid-flight. Theresa hurriedly asked for help coming up with an excuse to stall Durandal—something involving Anti-Entropy supposedly being on vacation and somehow running into her along the way. Miraculously, Durandal believed it. Kouga barely paid attention to any of that; his eyes were locked on Wendy as she descended toward an open field.
Wendy landed hard, and Kouga followed, gently lowering the girls to the ground beside him.
The moment they touched down, Wendy turned toward them, anger flashing across her face as she shouted :"You all don't know when to give up. I'll have to teach you a lesson!"
Kiana immediately fired back :"Hey, that's my line!"as she pulled out her duel guns.
Mei stepped forward, trying to cool the rising tension as she pleaded :"Wendy, please trust us. You're not yourself. Honkai is misleading you."
Before Kiana could move, Bronya stepped in front of her and said :"Wait, subject Kiana. Bronya wants to talk to subject Wendy."
Wendy recoiled, shaking her head as she yelled :"No! Stop! I don't want to talk with you, Bronya!"
Bronya, however, continued calmly :"Bronya remembered a younger sister named Seele back in the orphanage. Subject Wendy reminds me of her."
Her voice remained steady, but the weight of her memories was clear as she went on :"Seele was strong and kind, like subject Wendy. Seele was corrupted by Honkai, but she fought hard and got herself back. Bronya endured a lot of pain during the modifications... and still suffers to this day..."
Bronya met Wendy's gaze directly as she finished :"But there is hope. Bronya understands subject Wendy's pain. Bronya knows subject Wendy can overcome this pain. Do not give up. Bronya believes in you."
Slowly, Wendy's raging aura began to fade. Her expression softened as she said quietly :"I... I trust you, too, Bronya... All right! I'll give myself another chance!"
Mei let out a breath of relief and said happily :"Great! Wendy came back to us."
Kiana exhaled deeply, shoulders relaxing as she said :"Pfew. That was really close. Alright, back to the Hyperion. We're all kick-ass Valkyries. If you get controlled by Honkai again, Kouga and i will defeat you in no time."She pointed confidently at Kouga, who was still in his Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker form.
Kouga turned his helmet toward her and replied flatly :"Oi"
Kouga stepped forward once more, extending his hand toward Wendy in a calm, welcoming gesture."Let us take you home Wendy."
Wendy looked at his outstretched hand for a moment. After everything that had happened, hesitation flickered in her eyes—but then she nodded and took it. Kouga gently led her back toward the others.
As they reached the group, Wendy glanced at Bronya, her voice softer now, almost hopeful."Bronya, can I sit on your robot again? Can I?"
Bronya smiled faintly and replied,"No problem. Project Bunny: activate!"
Project Bunny materialized beside her in a familiar flash of light. But in the very next instant, something went terribly wrong.
Bronya's eyes suddenly went empty—void of emotion, void of warmth. Her voice turned flat and mechanical as she said,"By the highest level of authority: Project Bunny, switch to attack mode. Target: 4th Herrscher."
Project Bunny's cannon arms rose and fired without hesitation.
Kouga reacted instantly. He shoved Wendy aside and transformed mid-motion into Kamen Rider W Heat Metal, planting himself directly in the line of fire. The blast slammed into his armored body, flames and shockwaves exploding outward as he absorbed the attack. Even as he skidded back, Kouga realized the truth—Bronya was no longer acting of her own will.
Kiana stared in disbelief and shouted,"Stop! Bronya! What are you doing?"
Kouga quickly turned his head toward Kiana and Mei, raising his voice through the smoke."It's no use Kiana, It's seem like Bronya is being under the Bio-chip influence again."
As if to confirm his words, Bronya's outfit shifted into her Black Nucleus battle suit, while Project Bunny darkened, its white frame turning pitch black.
Wendy, shaken and confused, looked between them."Bio-chip? Bronya being under it's influence."
Before anyone could react further, a cold, unfamiliar voice echoed across the field,"All tactical mechas, invisible mode off! Target: the 4th Herrscher! And the Armored Knight"
The air distorted—and suddenly dozens of tactical mechas revealed themselves, decloaking all around them. One struck Wendy with overwhelming force, knocking her unconscious instantly. Another slammed into Kouga, sending him flying across the field.
Several mechas immediately pursued him, pinning him down where he landed and locking his limbs in place, preventing any movement.
Kiana and Mei watched in horror. Kiana cried out his name in panic."Kouga!"
Mei stared at Wendy's fallen body in shock and disbelief, whispering,"No way! One hit and the Herrscher went down!"
High above them, a glowing ring appeared in the sky. From it came a mocking, confident voice,"The new tactical mecha is something else! Well, I HAVE TO thank you for wearing her down first. Oh, right, I almost forgot - there's another Herrscher right here."
The voice continued, cold and commanding,"Bronya, my sweet daughter, capture the 3rd Herrscher for me."
Kiana froze."Huh?"
Bronya responded instantly, her voice completely devoid of emotion,"Yes, Matushka."
Realizing the target, Kiana screamed in panic,"Mei-senpai !, Bronya-chan! "
But it was too late.
Bronya struck without hesitation. Mei collapsed as darkness took her, her final confused whisper escaping her lips,"Wh-Why?"
Project Bunny lifted Mei's unconscious body under Bronya's command. Slowly, its cannon turned—aiming directly at Kiana—as Bronya stated coldly,"Raiden Mei has been apprehended. One target remains."
Bronya's sensors suddenly flared to life. She tilted her head slightly as data streamed across her vision and said,"High level energy detected."Her gaze shifted toward Kouga, who was still pinned down by multiple mechs.
In the next instant, a violent shockwave erupted from Kouga's position. The surrounding mechs were blown away like scrap metal caught in a storm. Kouga rose to his feet amid the wreckage, his body shaking with barely restrained fury.
His armor shifted, plates snapping into place as his form changed—Kamen Rider W: Fang Joker.
A feral roar tore from his throat, raw and furious.
Kiana felt hope surge in her chest as she looked up at him."Kouga-senpai"
Kouga launched forward like an unleashed beast.
The remaining mechs rushed him all at once, but they stood no chance. Each punch shattered metal frames and sent units flying. With a sharp motion, Kouga pressed the Fang Memory's horn once. A blade formed along his arm—the Arm Saber—and he tore through the mechs in a blur of motion, slicing them apart as sparks and debris filled the air.
Bronya analyzed the scene coldly and announced,"Threat level: High, Advice : Tactical retreats."
Kouga pressed the Fang Memory's horn a second time. This time, a blade formed on his shoulder. He ripped it free and hurled it like a boomerang. The spinning blade sliced cleanly through Project Bunny's arm, severing its grip on Mei.
Mei's unconscious body fell—
—but Kiana sprinted forward and caught her just in time.
As this unfolded, the unseen commander snarled in frustration,"Danm it, Bronya grab one unit and use it to grab The 4th Herrscher and retreat ! Other Units .. held that beast down !"
At once, the remaining mechs swarmed Kouga, desperately trying to restrain him. Meanwhile, Bronya commandeered a nearby unit, seized Wendy's unconscious body, and vanished as the mech activated its invisibility system.
Kouga saw it happen.
A roar of pure rage echoed across the battlefield as he continued tearing through the remaining mechs, destroying them one by one—but it was already too late.
Himeko did not arrive in time.
She managed to extract Kiana, Kouga, and Mei from the battlefield, but Bronya and Wendy had been taken by Anti-Entropy forces.
With heavy hearts and overwhelming regret, Kiana, Mei, and Kouga had no choice but to return to St. Freya High School, determined to regroup and devise a rescue plan—with the help of Theresa and Himeko.
