With the Velvet For Ashes runway show barely a week away, Ruby worked late, perfecting some designs while sketching additional designs for the awe-inspiring collections.
She didn't care whether Derek came back to work or not. She didn't even bother with Bailey who kept hanging outside her office doing god knows what with Gina.
By the time she rounded up for the day, it was already past seven, and she was the only one left in the building, or so she thought.
Turning off her light and closing the door behind her with the new lock, Ruby walked out of the fashion house, yawning softly from exhaustion.
"Good night, Miss Ruby." The night security guard held the door open for her.
"Thanks, Pablo. See you tomorrow." She flashed him a tired smile before heading towards her car.
Stan was already waiting beside the car, holding the rear door open.
"Sorry, I kept you waiting, Stan." Ruby apologized as she slipped into the back seat.
