Chapter 100: I Will Bring Them Victory

A month later, the decisive battle.

The demon race leaders of the monster army were excited.

The allied forces, who had been hiding behind the tall city walls of the Elf Kingdom for several months, were now, for the first time, coming out to fight them in a decisive battle.

They wanted to see how the Elves and Dwarves would fight against their army without the help of the Skywing Clan.

Initially, the Dwarf King tried to lure the demon army into a canyon, but the demon commanders were cunning and didn't fall for it.

The decisive battle still took place on the plain named Grili.

The once green grassland was now withered by demonic energy. The air hung thick with corruption.

Not far away, a vast army of monsters, like a black wave, was slowly advancing towards the allied forces. The ground trembled beneath their weight.

Each demon could control different monsters, and these creatures were all crowded together without any formation. Once they fell behind or stumbled, they would be trampled to death by the monsters behind them.

There was no unified command within the demon race. Attacks were based solely on the preferences of different demons.

"It seems that the pseudo-god is not directly commanding those demons."

On a high platform in the rear of the allied forces, Kurtz could clearly see every move of the monster army.

"They're actually forming such a dense formation. Aren't these guys afraid of the allied forces' mages?" Serie asked.

If she were to act, a single Arrow Rain or pillar of light could easily kill dozens or even hundreds of monsters.

If all the allied forces' mages attacked at once, the monster army would suffer heavy losses.

"Do you think you'll kill all these monsters first, or will your own magic power run out first?" Kurtz pointed at the countless monster army. "Once you mages lose your combat power, and the demons release magic, our warriors will have to endure it directly."

Kurtz's biggest concern was the demon race repeating their trick and unleashing a God Strike on the allied forces.

For this, he had the Elf King arrange many scouts to watch the demons' every move.

Based on current intelligence, the demons did not seem to be planning to do so.

Maybe in the eyes of the demons, the allied forces, having lost the Skywing Clan and the Elf Forest, were no longer worth such an effort. They only needed to drown them with an endless number of monsters.

Also, casting God Strike was very draining for the demons. Continuously releasing God Strike twice had probably exhausted their magic power, which was also an important factor.

Maybe those demons never expected that there was still someone in the allied forces who could release God Strike.

They were careless.

The monster army continuously approached, making every warrior in the allied forces nervous. Hands tightened on weapon hilts.

"Come, let's begin!"

On the high platform, Kurtz stood at the very front, with Serie and Olivia behind him, and behind them were thousands of allied forces' mages, including Norn and Eric.

Kurtz gripped Orger tightly with both hands. The Holy Relic Stone Slab, its scabbard, lay quietly before him.

Beside him, saint authority sword Athos floated in mid-air, its body emitting a soft glow that formed a barrier, enveloping everyone in protective warmth.

On the other side was El's Light, the Human Authority Sword, which had already been reforged.

Kurtz had imbued it with magic that could sever the connection between monsters and gods. This way, attacked monsters would completely vanish, causing no harm to this grassland.

As Kurtz was the first to begin releasing magic power, others quickly followed suit.

Everyone, following the magic array improved by Kurtz, released all of their magic power, and these magic powers converged to form a huge energy net covering the entire high platform.

The core of this network was the three swords in front of Kurtz.

This was the Pseudo-God Strike technique Kurtz created through his research into the Skywing Clan's God Strike.

A true God Strike required all mages to undergo long-term coordinated training. The reason the Skywing Clan always maintained a neat formation and movements whenever they appeared was actually for training.

There was not much time left for the allied forces.

Kurtz could only adopt a simple and crude method.

By using the power of the three Holy Swords, he gathered the magic power released by all the allied forces' mages, then released it through Orger's light cannon, achieving a Pseudo-God Strike effect.

The existence of the three Holy Swords was crucial.

Because a single Holy Sword could not bear such an enormous amount of magic power. These magic powers had to be borne in batches.

Among these three Holy Swords, Orger was the main attacking force.

Only that one possessed an additional skill like a light cannon.

Otherwise, a mere magical release would not be able to unleash destructive power comparable to God Strike.

"They're coming!"

The voice of the Elf scout responsible for lookout carried tension.

On the horizon, the monster army had finally fully entered the designated strike range.

The fastest charging monsters had even seen the dazzling magical light in the rear of the allied forces.

With their low intelligence, the monsters could not understand what it was.

The demon commanders in the far rear also noticed this scene, but because Kurtz controlled it, the pressure of the Pseudo-God Strike was not leaked, so the demons could not understand what these Elf mages were doing.

"Do we need to disperse the army? Those mages seem to be gathering magic power," one demon commander suggested.

He could clearly see the huge magic net in the distance being continuously woven, seemingly indicating that the allied forces' mages were preparing a large-scale magic attack for their army.

"It's too late. Dispersing the army now would only cause more meaningless casualties. It's better to let these beasts charge forward. It will also consume the mages' magic power."

The demons evidently did not take it seriously.

In their view, so what if they were preparing large-scale magic?

Could its power be as terrifying as God Strike?

On the current battlefield, their army feared no one.

Gazing at the countless monster army, the Elf King secretly nodded: "Tell Mr. Kurtz, the time has come."

The command was relayed to Kurtz, and he no longer hesitated, immediately maximizing his magic output.

The next moment, the giant net constructed by the magic power of over a thousand mages began to contract, dividing into strands of magic power, which were frantically absorbed by the three Holy Swords on the platform.

Buzz!

The Holy Swords emitted an unprecedented clear ringing sound, and the runes on their bodies lit up one by one, the light following the patterns of the magic array, gradually condensing.

Feeling this immense flow of magic power, Kurtz gritted his teeth, sweat beading on his forehead.

At this moment, he was grateful for his earlier decision.

This power already far exceeded what he had released when countering God Strike. His body alone could not withstand it.

It can be done!

Such immense power made Kurtz see a possibility for god-slaying.
