Chapter 66 - Chapter 66: Sukuna: Where is the new body?

"One finger, two fingers, three fingers~"

On a ruined street, a child of indeterminate gender, dressed in monk-like clothes, played with three of Sukuna's fingers before swallowing them in one gulp.

'Uraume, Jujutsu Sorcerer, Total Points—Sixteen Thousand (Special Grade Sorcerer).'

After consuming the fingers, Uraume became Sukuna's vessel, receiving his Cursed Energy and instantly earning such a high point assessment.

It seemed to be a change brought on by the Culling Game; within the entire barrier, the revival of incarnated sorcerers had become simpler.

Uraume was already a revived being, and their body was exceptionally suited for Sukuna. This special circumstance led to Sukuna's consciousness awakening within them.

"To think such a situation could occur—incarnating in two bodies at the same time."

"My soul can transfer between two mental spaces. How amusing."

A mouth appeared on Uraume's face—it was Sukuna, who had been missing until now. He had transferred to Uraume's body.

"Lord Sukuna, we have now collected four fingers, but this amount of power is still insufficient."

"Besides me, Kenjaku has surely revived other sorcerers. They are all powerhouses from various eras."

Uraume's meaning was clear: even for Sukuna, he currently only possessed the power of four fingers."

In this state, he would undoubtedly face a difficult battle against the other incarnated sorcerers.

"There's no need to rush. Didn't Kenjaku give you all the order to eliminate Gojo Satoru?"

"Those sorcerers will certainly go looking for Gojo Satoru. We just need to follow them."

"It would be best to wake him up. I'd like to see for myself what power the so-called 'strongest' truly possesses."

Sukuna was in no hurry to fully revive. He could sense his fingers scattered about, seemingly placed there intentionally by Kenjaku.

A single finger could grant an ordinary person the power of a Grade 1 Sorcerer. Kenjaku had deployed fifteen fingers, meaning that in theory, there were fifteen Grade 1 Sorcerers, all of whom would fight for more fingers.

And Itadori was their common target—or so it should have been.

But Uraume's appearance was an anomaly. Kenjaku never intended to revive this group of sorcerers. As the powerhouses he had selected and made pacts with over a thousand years, their strength was not to be underestimated.

In the current situation, their arrival was a complete slaughter. Even those who had consumed Sukuna's fingers were easily eliminated by Uraume.

They now had four fingers inside them, one more than a certain student athlete.

Both Sukuna and Uraume believed this was all part of Kenjaku's scheme, but for now, they didn't know his true intentions. Releasing the fingers and reviving sorcerers—did he want a battle royale in Tokyo?

"Gather the remaining fingers as quickly as possible. I have a feeling something big is about to happen. The power of four fingers is still too weak."

"During this time, I will move between you and Itadori to provide you with intelligence. Don't disappoint me."

A Culling Game that enveloped the entire globe—even he couldn't imagine such a barrier. He was intensely curious as to how Kenjaku had managed it.

Sukuna was extremely confident in his own strength, but he wasn't arrogant. The power Kenjaku was now displaying was not something they could currently oppose.

"Compared to collecting fingers, wouldn't clearing the field yield a higher return?"

The one thing Uraume couldn't understand was this: why did Kenjaku drag ordinary people into this? To serve as experience points?

Although ordinary people didn't provide much Cursed Energy, it was a different story if one possessed a Cursed Technique with a wide area of effect.

The further the game progressed, the harder it would be to gain points by increasing one's strength. Consuming one of Sukuna's fingers could boost one's score to six or seven thousand points, but even after consuming four fingers, they only had sixteen thousand.

If one were to go all out and target ordinary people, ten thousand people would mean ten thousand points, plus a massive influx of Cursed Energy.

According to the rules, the top six players with the most points would qualify for the finals, and points could also be used to buy items in a shop... In any case, the more the better.

"To understand the situation, we must qualify for the finals."

"If someone starts farming points by targeting ordinary people, we might not even make it into the top six."

Sukuna quickly realized the problem as well. He couldn't care less about ordinary people; if necessary, a massacre was of no concern to him.

"Then it's settled. On our way to collect the fingers, we'll just kill everyone we come across."

He quickly gave the order. He had no interest in carrying out a deliberate massacre, but collecting points along the way was another matter.

"Yes, Lord Sukuna."

As long as they killed quickly and numerously enough, the Cursed Energy they replenished would exceed what they consumed. Theoretically, their combat power wouldn't decrease.

However, just as they were about to act, a beam of light descended from the sky.

"[NOTICE] The large-scale killing of civilians is prohibited. Violators will be erased."

A bottomless crater appeared before Uraume, at least several dozen meters deep, and it had missed hitting them by less than half a meter.

The fear of death enveloped their entire being. If an attack like that had hit, they would have had no chance of survival.

The sunlight was blocked. Above Uraume, Schwarzer hovered in mid-air, looking down at them—or rather, at them—with indifference.

Sukuna, hiding within Uraume's body, understood clearly that the other party had seen him.

A wisp of heat rose from the cannon on Schwarzer's arm, letting them know that the previous strike was her handiwork.

"No problem. We understand."

Sukuna's mouth appeared on Uraume's face as he quickly answered.

A wise man submits to circumstances. He saw the six-digit score above her head. The gap was so immense that she could instantly kill them just by reinforcing her body with Cursed Energy.

He recognized that name, though. Wasn't it the one he'd encountered at Jujutsu High before... So that's how it is.

Sukuna quickly connected the dots. He had Itadori's information and Uraume's information. By comparing the two and eliminating the information gap, many facts came to light.

"You're connected to Kenjaku and the others, aren't you? With your level of strength, playing house with Gojo Satoru and his group must be for some ulterior motive."

"Neither human nor Cursed Spirit, and just like Kakashi and the others, you're from another world. You must be the true mastermind behind all this."

It was the only possibility Sukuna could conceive of, but he didn't know why Schwarzer was doing all this.

However, he was certain of one thing: Tokyo was the epicenter of these events.

Schwarzer gave no response, which was as good as a tacit admission. After all, there was no longer any need for concealment. All the pieces were in place.

'You were still too hasty, Host. Without the information gap, it's easy for them to guess that something is very wrong with you.'

'Don't worry. It's all part of the plan.'

Faced with the System's teasing, Schwarzer gave a response worthy of a certain little blue bird.
