Chapter 32 - Seeds of Poison

Later that day, Seraphina could not just sit in her chamber fuming for nothing. She needed to do something to let the Alphas know how much they were affected by the mate bond. Seraphina knew very well that the thing the Cerberus Alphas considered the worst insult was suggesting that they were weak.

She sure was going to take advantage of that. She rose and headed outside her door, telling the guards by her door that Alpha Knox had sent for her. Once she was able to fool the guards, she headed for the War Room, where she knew Alpha Knox was likely to come to.

Seraphina positioned herself strategically in the corridor outside the War Room. The corridor was usually empty, but she knew the cleaning omegas would pass through soon.

Soon, two young omega servants rounded the corner, carrying cleaning supplies. Perfect. These two were known gossips, always eager to curry favor with their betters. Seraphina adjusted her expression, replacing fury with false concern.
