After an unknown amount of time, Liu Xiu finally felt the pain recede. A strange power began to wash over his body, causing a tingling sensation throughout his limbs.
Not far away, Gwen and the others also felt the force restraining them gradually dissipate. They slowly regained the ability to move, eventually standing up against the lingering pressure.
After a while longer, this power completely vanished, dispersing into the air like the wind, as if it had never been there.
