Nidavellir.
In the dark expanse of space, a fiercely burning star was radiating dazzling light.
Beside this burning star, a massive ring was slowly rotating with an inexplicable rhythm.
On this ring lived the most elite forging race in the universe: the Dwarves.
Although they were called Dwarves, their stature wasn't particularly small. Their "dwarf" was relative to the giants that once existed.
Just then, a fierce white light shot from the depths of space. The light shone onto the ring and gradually dissipated after a moment.
As the light faded, two figures emerged: Thor and Meng Ran, who had just transferred from Asgard.
The light of the Bifrost, though intense, didn't attract much attention.
Because the Dwarves on the star ring were all busy with their work, and because they knew that those who came with the Bifrost were always from Asgard, they didn't stop their work either, but continued to forge the weapons in their hands with a clanging sound.
Meng Ran followed Thor slowly, looking around curiously as he walked.
He saw the tall Dwarves intently casting the weapons in front of them, accompanied by the sound of hammering, with waves of heat constantly emanating from around him.
Meng Ran looked around at the bustling scene while pondering in his heart.
"They're obviously taller than most of the races in the universe, but they're called Dwarves. I don't understand."
Before they had gone far, a Dwarf, nearly 5 meters tall but with short limbs, walked up to Thor and Meng Ran.
From the Dwarves, Meng Ran truly understood what it meant for short limbs and a tall stature to have no conflict at all.
They demonstrated what it would look like when these two characteristics were perfectly integrated into an individual.
The tall giant saw Thor and also smiled, "Long time no see, Thor. We saw your battle with the Dark Elves a few days ago."
"This time, the name of Thor will be remembered by everyone in the Nine Realms."
Thor was very happy to hear the giant's praise, but he still humbly waved his hand and smiled, "I couldn't have done it alone. There were also companions helping me at the time."
It has to be said that from the first time he was exiled to Earth by Odin, Thor had already begun to gradually change and grow.
His arrogance and pride had also been worn down a lot.
After Thor finished speaking, he introduced Meng Ran and the Dwarves to each other.
"Evil Ghost, this is Eitri, the Dwarf King. He is the top weapon forging master in the universe."
"Eitri, this is Evil Ghost. He's a friend I made in Midgard. His strength is very strong, even more powerful than me."
Eitri was surprised after hearing Thor's introduction. Thor's humility had already amazed him, and now he was praising this somewhat strange-looking person in front of him.
After all, he hadn't seen Thor for a while. In his memory, Thor was still the arrogant and proud God of Thunder, who looked down on everyone.
Today, not only had Thor changed his arrogant attitude, but he had even become humble. It seemed that something had happened during this time, causing such a big change in him.
"Hello." Eitri looked at Meng Ran curiously, and at the same time, he smiled kindly and greeted him.
In his opinion, since this strange person could be recognized by Thor, he was certainly not simple.
As for Thor saying that the Evil Ghost could defeat him, Eitri only thought that Thor was joking and didn't take it seriously.
One doesn't hit a smiling face, and moreover, Meng Ran was now asking for help. Facing the amiable Eitri, Meng Ran was of course very polite in greeting him.
After a simple exchange of pleasantries, Eitri then led the two of them on a tour.
"Speaking of which, Thor, you haven't been here for quite some time. What brings you here today?"
"Could something be wrong with Mjolnir?"
After showing the two of them around for a while, Eitri asked Thor about the reason for their visit.
Thor waved his hand upon hearing Eitri's question, then smiled. "Mjolnir is doing well. I've always considered it my closest companion, so how could anything be wrong with it?"
"Actually, I came today to ask you for a favor."
Eitri then continued to ask, "Do you need me to forge a weapon?"
Thor nodded in response.
Upon seeing Thor's reply, Eitri continued, "Then it must be that this Evil Ghost needs a weapon, since you, Thor, already have Mjolnir."
Meng Ran, who hadn't spoken, nodded after hearing the Dwarf King's words and said, "That's right, I do need a weapon."
After saying that, Meng Ran flipped his hand and took out a large chunk of Uru Metal, placing it on the ground.
Neither Eitri nor Thor were particularly surprised by Meng Ran's ability to produce something out of thin air; there were many who could do such magic, so they didn't think much of it.
However, upon seeing the Uru Metal Meng Ran produced, the calm hearts of Thor and Eitri couldn't help but stir.
"This is... Uru Metal," Eitri said, somewhat surprised after seeing Meng Ran take out the Uru Metal.
It should be known that Uru Metal was a special metal produced in Asgard. This metal was not only extremely hard but could also be imbued with magic.
Weapons made with it were not only incredibly sharp but could also increase elemental affinity, helping the user more easily sense and manipulate elements.
This characteristic was also the reason Meng Ran was preparing to use it to create his new weapon, as he possessed the power of thunder and the ability to control wind.
Thor didn't know the Evil Ghost had already prepared the Uru Metal for forging weapons, so he was a bit surprised to see it lying on the ground.
After all, this metal came from Asgard and generally wouldn't be leaked out. So he didn't know how Meng Ran had obtained it.
Meng Ran also knew Thor and Eitri's doubts. To avoid them making strange guesses, he spoke after placing the metal on the ground.
"I found this metal on Earth after going through a lot of hardships."
"Is it called Uru Metal? I didn't know that before."
"I just thought it was very hard, and in general, even my knife couldn't cut through it, so I thought maybe it could be used as a material for weapons."
After hearing Meng Ran's explanation, Thor and Eitri didn't dwell on where the metal came from. After all, the Evil Ghost had given them an explanation, and there was no point in asking further.
