I couldn't remember how much time had passed since the two of us fell asleep after taking each other for the first time. It might have been an hour or dozens, but that didn't matter at all. When I opened my eyes, the absolutely beautiful scenery melted my heart completely.
Using my arm as a cushion, Ume was sleeping facing me, her warm and soft palms resting on my chest.
Can you imagine starting your day like that?
The first thing you see when you open your eyes is the serene face of your beloved, just a few inches away from your own. Not to mention, she was sleeping so comfortably that she looked even more adorable and heavenly.
For the next few minutes, I silently kept gazing at her, savoring this beautiful face and engraving it into my heart.
My free hand slowly reached her face as I gently tugged the strands of her silken hair that had fallen like curtains over her face.
