"I will kill you!" Cedric roared, lunging at me, his sword aimed at my right arm.
As the blade drew closer, I grabbed it with my bare hand, my disappointed gaze locking onto Cedric.
He flinched the moment he realized how effortlessly I had blocked an attack into which he had poured more than half of his strength. In a sudden jolt, he tried to pull his sword back, but it did not move even slightly. Gritting his teeth, he grasped the hilt with both hands and tried again, veins bulging along his arms, yet he failed miserably to shift it even a fraction.
"Strongest warriors of the Western Continent, huh?" I muttered, tightening my grip around the blade.
A sharp cracking sound rang out, and in the next instant, the sword snapped into two.
"So you are a body cultivator!" Cedric spat, instantly retreating several steps. "I will make you my slave for the rest of your miserable life for breaking my sword!"
