Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Storming the Red Line! A Grand Entrance!

Time ticked away—

Minute by minute, second by second.

Before long, three full hours had passed, and dusk had begun to settle in.

Suddenly, the six figures who had been meditating in silence sprang to their feet.

"Mm!"

With silent agreement, they each gave a slight nod. In the next instant, Shiki manipulated several floating stone slabs, lifting all six of them into the sky.

No words were needed.

They were already prepared. Since they'd arrived at the Red Line... they might as well raise hell.

Hidden in the darkness by Shiki's ability, and further shielded by Arthur's Wind King Barrier, the group's silhouettes vanished from view as they approached their target—

The Red Line.

Before them—

A sprawling, opulent city stretched out, glistening with the glow of civilization.

The Red Line — Mary Geoise.

The so-called heart of the World Government.

But in truth—

Mary Geoise wasn't just a lone castle or a cluster of buildings. It was an enormous complex composed of countless divisions: military bases, CP headquarters, bureaucratic towers, Celestial Dragon estates, slave quarters...

In short—

There was no exaggeration in saying that Mary Geoise was massive. And deep within it lay the legendary Pangaea Castle, home to that individual. Just from the name alone, one could imagine the sheer scale of the place.

"This is it."

"Let's begin."

"No problem."

"Mm!"

The six exchanged glances again. No hesitation. No more words.

Madness and bloodlust shimmered in their eyes.

Since they were already here, they were going to go big.

Arthur drew out the Invisible Blade from within his own body—

[A noteworthy detail: the Sword of Promised Victory could be stored within his body like a soul-bound treasure.]

"EX—CALIBURRRRR!!!"

"Seaquake!"

"Lion Menace!"

"Shocking Spiral Blade!"

"Destruction Greataxe!"

"Black Pearl—Annihilation!"

Arthur. Edward. Shiki. Ochoku. Silver Axe. Captain John.

Six men.

Without a shred of hesitation, they unleashed their ultimate techniques simultaneously.

As for where they were aimed?

That didn't matter.

They were here to throw the entire Red Line into chaos—complete, unrelenting chaos.

BOOM!!!

In the blink of an eye, mushroom clouds erupted across the skyline. The sudden assault plunged the Red Line into immediate, full-blown turmoil.

"Jihahahahaha!!"

Shiki cackled wildly, voice filled with glee.

"Let's raise some serious hell! You lot, tear it all down! But remember—

I'm giving you only three hours. After that, we meet back here. No exceptions!"

"Gurararara~!!"

Edward leapt down, landing on the Red Line with a thunderous thud, his blade Murakumogiri in hand.

"Shiki! You better complete your task. If you fail to bring back the eternal pose, Captain Rocks won't hesitate to kill you."

"Jihahahaha!!"

"No worries! I'm going myself—what could possibly go wrong?!"

Whoosh!

With a blur, Shiki vanished toward the distance, following the direction of a Vivre Card, wasting no time.

Among the six, Shiki was undoubtedly the fastest.

---

"Now then..."

Arthur narrowed his eyes toward the horizon. A mass of figures surged in their direction.

"Looks like... they've arrived."

"Gurarara!"

"Let me see for myself—

Just what kind of strength does the Red Line have to offer?!"

Edward strode straight toward the oncoming army, no fear in his step.

"Murakumogiri: Seaquake Slash!"

Screeech!

In an instant, a deep fissure tore through the enemy ranks. Meanwhile, Arthur silently slipped away in the opposite direction.

Truthfully—

Arthur still didn't understand why Captain Rocks insisted that he join this mission.

Yes, his presence added a little more firepower, but even without him, the others were more than capable.

With those five and the Captain plus Big Mom Linlin creating diversions outside... it should've been more than enough.

And yet...

Rocks still had him come.

"How baffling..."

"Captain Rocks."

"What exactly are you planning?"

Arthur genuinely didn't understand what Rocks was thinking. If the intent was to help him, it didn't seem necessary. If it was to train him...

That made even less sense.

He wasn't one of the D clan, just a mere trainee crewmember. There was no particular reason to groom him.

"Well—"

Arthur shook his head, his voice calm.

"Since I'm already here, there's no point overthinking it. I'll just ask Captain Rocks once we're back."

"But this time..."

"This—"

"Is the perfect opportunity."

If I succeed...

A gleam of cold light flashed through Arthur's eyes. In that moment, they transformed—

Crimson, slit-pupiled eyes—the eyes of a dragon.

He whispered with sharp determination:

"This is it. The one chance I have to accelerate my growth. I must seize this opening with everything I've got! This is the best—and maybe only—opportunity I'll ever have!"

"The Red Line..."

"The World Government..."

"Mary Geoise..."

"The Celestial Dragons..."

BAM!

Stomping down hard, Arthur shot forward like a bolt of lightning.

As for the risk?

High risk, High reward.

Great riches lie in great danger.

And that danger was right in front of him.

But so were the rewards.

If he succeeded, his strength would surge to new heights.
