For Ren and the Goddess of Magic, distance was basically meaningless.
In just an instant, they appeared in the northeastern corner of the Kingdom of Dawn.
This was exactly where legendary magician Drinkwater had pursued his enemy in that final battle—and where he'd encountered the black-robed figure from the Tulip Kingdom.
For the Kingdom of Dawn, this was just wasteland. But if you could break through the ice and cross the strait, you'd reach Lady Dream's Tulip Kingdom—that legendary pocket nation built from dreams, supposedly home to dozens of legendary magicians.
"Should we go straight in?"
The Goddess of Magic asked.
Lady Dream's death was suspicious, the Tulip Kingdom's existence was even more suspicious, and then there was that weird black-robed figure with special energy from a while back. The Goddess of Magic also wanted to investigate and figure out what was really going on.
But since they'd agreed Ren would take the lead on this, she naturally wouldn't overstep.
