Chapter 10 - Enora

Nickan woke up to find himself at lunch time and he was famished so he cooked pasta for himself and began gulping it down voraciously.

Upon finishing his meal there was a sudden knock on the door and Nickan thought who it might be as he hardly gets any visitors.

As he opened the door he found a girl standing and she was a real bona fide beauty whom Nickan knew from childhood who he had a crush on and in terms of appearance she had dark, flowing hair that framed her face in soft waves, with a few loose strands accentuating her sharp cheekbones. Her eyes were large and captivating, framed by long lashes that deepened their intensity, and a subtle pout graced her lips, lending her an air of quiet mystery. She wore golden hoop earrings that added a touch of boldness to her look.

Draped over her frame was an oversized jacket, casually layered over a sleek black turtleneck that hugged her form. High-waisted jeans completed her outfit, highlighting her effortless balance of confidence and style. There was an undeniable strength in her gaze, poised yet fierce, as if she carried untold stories behind her eyes.

"Nice seeing you Airi, what brings you here?" Nickan asked with composure.

"Aren't you going to tell me to come in," Airi replied with a pout.

"Oh my bad come in though it's a bit messy," Nickan said.

"It's fine! You're a boy after all," Airi replied.

Nickan felt more drawn to Airi as he always loved the mature and understanding side of her.

"Thanks for understanding," Nickan said.

"No problem, by the way why aren't you responding to any of my messages," Airi replied.

Nickan was about to say he was reliving a books story but stopped as it sounds beyond crazy, so instead he said "I was a bit sick."

"Sick!? You seem fine," Airi replied.

"I recovered early," Nickan said.

"Great or else I would've stayed to nurse you," Airi replied.

Nickan felt like hitting his head with a hammer as Airi chan was about to stay for him if he was sick but he missed the chance and besides he soon realized even if Airi stays what would he tell her, after all he's not Sengoku who treats women like buttslapping material and makes love with countless one's.

Seeing Nickan absorbed in thoughts Airi at first tried to wave her hand in front of Nickan's face but as that didn't work she slapped him in the face and that made Nickan let out f*ck as a curse word.

Airi looked around and saw the book: Sengoku the dragon, which Nickan was reliving. With piqued interest she went close to it but before she could touch it Nickan grabbed ahold of it and diverted the attention of Airi elsewhere saying there's a cat doing somersault.

Airi looked behind while Nickan hid the book. Upon seeing that there's no cat Airi asked Nickan, "There's no cat! Why did you lie to me? And what's that book?"

"The cat was there you missed it and what book are you talking about," Nickan replied.

"The one with pitch-black leather covering," Airi said.

Nickan thought what he should say but since Airi saw the book he thought out what he will say and said, "This is my book, I'm currently writing it!"

"Ah you're writing a new book, can I see?" Airi replied.

"Unfortunately no! This is the best I've ever written you won't be able to stop if you began reading it once and will earn for more despite it being incomplete," Nickan said.

"It's that interesting! I feel like reading it more but I'll heed your warning so let me be the first to read it once you're done," Airi replied.

"Understood, Anyway want to eat something its almost lunch time," Nickan said.

"Not today, I've had my fill before coming here," Airi replied.

"Oh so you already ate, I also ate before you came, so what do you wanna do then?" Nickan asked.

"Nothing! I just came to check on you, besides I need to leave as I've got judo lessons," Airi replied.

"Oh that's unfortunate! I was hoping we could have spent some time like old times," Nickan said.

"Don't worry I'll come back another time," Airi replied.

Airi left and Nickan now reflected on what he said, he said this is a book he was writing. He then thought can he actually use the books story as his own so he sat in front of his laptop and decided to write the first line and as he did his status blue screen popped up and this time the info were:

[Welcome to Memoir System!]

Name: Nickan Wole

Age: 27

Talent: Writer

Story relived class rank: SSS

Nickan saw his changed talent option on the blue panel and thought now that he had the writer talent can he change the books content, but before finding that out he decided to write the books content and as he did there was nothing happening.

Nickan felt overjoyed that he can claim this relived story as his own and publish it. It was almost night and Nickan finished writing till the last relived part of the book. Nickan then took his pen to rewrite the story's content, a red panel showed up:

[Warning: Writer can't change the books content]

[Proceed reading it as it is]

[It is unchangeable!]

Nickan decided to read the books next story and he began reading the story with a sense of thrill and this time he read about Sengoku's newfound wife Enora who was a princess.

Nickan finished the last remaining pages that he has to relive now and once he was finished the countdown timer showed up with ten minutes time. The time was clicking and Nickan lied down on his bed with a note written beside him as usual on the table in case something happens to him. After the timer was zero Nickan found himself within Sengoku and Sengoku was now on a carriage that was going to his ruling kingdom which was named after him: Sengoku Kingdom.

Nickan knew the exact total number of Human Kingdoms on the Elysium continent and they are Sengoku kingdom, Enor kingdom and Dark domains kingdom (ruled by Yamato), and surprisingly as Nickan read the books story it turned that Yamato was none other than his grandfather who turned evil for some reason after drinking the blood of the Evil dragon Zorgen, but that was way later to come as to how this all happened but for now Nickan decided to see how things turn out as per his read which was Sengoku meeting his new royal seventh wife Enora of Enor Kingdom.

The carriage rumbled along the stone-paved path, its wooden wheels creaking with each rotation. Inside, Sengoku sat with perfect posture, his scaled form concealed beneath royal robes of crimson and gold. The transformation had progressed further since his battle with Yamato's forces, giving him an even more imposing presence.

Nickan, observing through Sengoku's eyes, felt a strange disconnection. This wasn't the bloodthirsty warrior who had decapitated Suzu without hesitation. This Sengoku seemed calmer, more calculated, as if the dragon essence within him had settled into a dormant state.

"We approach the royal palace, my lord," announced the driver from outside.

Sengoku's six wives sat opposite him in the spacious carriage, each adorned in ceremonial garments befitting their status. Their scaled skin glimmered subtly beneath fine silk robes, though none displayed their dragon forms openly while traveling through populated areas.

As the carriage passed through the main gates of Sengoku Palace, crowds of citizens lined the streets. They cheered for Sengoku's arrival.

The carriage soon came to a halt in the central courtyard. Royal guards stood at attention, their armor gleaming in the midday sun. Servants rushed forward to assist with luggage while the palace steward approached with measured steps.

"Welcome, Your Majesty," the steward bowed deeply. "The Princess Enora awaits your presence in the eastern pavilion."

Sengoku nodded. "I shall meet her shortly. First, escort my wives to their chambers."

"I shall do so!" grunted the steward.

As Sengoku walked toward the eastern pavilion, Nickan felt a surreal sensation. The palace corridors were familiar to him now, though he had never physically walked them.

The eastern pavilion was a marvel of architecture, with open sides to catch the breeze and a view of the royal gardens. In the center, seated on a cushioned bench, was a woman whose beauty rivaled that of Sengoku's dragon wives.

It was princess Enora!

Princess Enora of Enor Kingdom possessed an arresting beauty, with waves of dark, cascading hair that framed her regal face like flowing midnight silk. A delicate, ornate crown of gold rested atop her head, its intricate design gleaming in the light filtering through stained glass. Her eyes, a piercing shade of crystalline blue, held both wisdom and quiet resolve, as though they had seen far more than her youthful features suggested. She wore an elegant gown of deep emerald green and cream, adorned with ruffled layers and fine embroidery, accentuating her noble bearing.

There was a serene yet commanding presence about her—a queen not just by title, but by the very essence of her being.

She rose as Sengoku entered, offering a curtsy that was precisely the correct depth for a princess greeting a king. "Your Majesty," she said, her voice melodious yet strong. "I am honored to finally meet you in person."

Sengoku approached and took her hand, bringing it to his lips in a formal greeting.

"The honor is mine, Princess Enora," Sengoku replied. "Your reputation for beauty and wisdom precedes you, yet I find the reality exceeds the tales."

A slight blush colored Enora's cheeks, but her composure remained intact. "You flatter me, Your Majesty. I hope our alliance brings prosperity to both our kingdoms."

"As do I," Sengoku gestured for her to sit, then took a seat opposite her.
