"If you think that's the best thing for me, then maybe I can try it," I said right away.
Lando's eyes widened a little, clearly surprised that I agreed so fast. He had once told me that his mother never listened whenever he suggested therapy. And when her condition got worse, he had no choice but to drag her to a mental hospital.
So when I agreed so easily, he didn't expect it, and instead worried that I might take it the wrong way.
"But Helcia, even though I suggested therapy, it doesn't mean I don't want to listen to you anymore," Lando said quickly, almost as if he was afraid I'd think he was tired of me. "If you ever feel stressed or need to talk, of course you can still tell me anything. I never get tired of listening to you."
"Husband." I straightened up and gently held his cheeks, looking into his eyes. "I know you mean well. You don't have to worry because I'm not mad at you."
Lando went silent for a moment before asking softly, "You… really aren't angry at me?"
