Rosinante soared swiftly through the air, the air beneath his feet exploding with each step, propelling him forward at an incredible speed.
Jack's body was imbued with his Silent Seal, allowing Rosinante to clearly sense Jack's direction. Following the markings' subtle guidance, Rosinante quickly found his location.
At this point, the battle with Jack's pirate crew—no, it wasn't a battle, it was more of a one-sided massacre—was almost over. Jack had tied several nobles to stakes and was venting his anger on them.
"You seem to be having quite a lot of fun. Did you vent all your anger?" Rosinante said as he slowly descended.
Upon seeing Rosinante's arrival, Jack frowned.
Without a life card, yet able to find him precisely in the vast ocean, it seemed that the mark not only had the previously known ability but also the power to pinpoint his location.
"What do you want?" Jack sneered. "Do you think I would run away?"
"I came to see the treasure of the Kingdom of joromia and to tell you something—the navy is coming," Rosinante said.
As Rosinante spoke, three massive warships appeared on the horizon.
"Captain, it's bad! The navy is here. From the size of those ships, there's probably a navy vice admiral!" The lookout from Jack's crew, now part of the Mammoth Fleet, reported.
"Seems like your goal was the treasure brought out by the royal nobles of the Kingdom of joromia. But now the navy's here. If you want to take the treasure, it's not going to be as easy as you think!" Jack didn't seem concerned. On the contrary, he said with glee, "Let's see how it plays out."
"There's no choice. The Kingdom of joromia is almost out of food. If the navy wants to stop us, we'll crush them," Rosinante said nonchalantly, unaffected by Jack's amusement.
"I understand. Then let's crush them. Everyone, charge forward and destroy the navy!" Jack commanded coldly.
"Yes!" With Jack's command, the Mammoth Fleet's ships immediately charged toward the navy, firing their cannons.
"You're really a war fanatic!" Rosinante muttered, surprised by Jack's immediate and reckless attack on the navy. It seemed this battle was unavoidable.
"But the navy isn't so easy to deal with. If it's avoidable, I really don't want to face that Red Dog." Rosinante sighed as he glanced at the navy ships.
"Vice Admiral Sakazuki!" Rosinante recognized the enemy.
"Big Red Dog!" At that moment, a loud roar erupted from the navy's warship, followed by a massive molten fist that destroyed all the incoming cannonballs. The molten hand then exploded like a volcanic eruption, sending fireballs made of lava toward them.
"This is troublesome..." Rosinante sighed, standing up. The treasure of the Kingdom of joromia was still on the ship, and he couldn't allow the volcanic bombs to sink these ships. Jack definitely wouldn't intervene—he probably wanted the ships to sink just to enjoy the show. So, Rosinante had no choice but to act.
"Silent Magic Eyes, Gravitational Silence!" Rosinante said softly, his eyes emitting a dim glow.
In order to use his Silence ability, Rosinante needed to make contact with the target's body. While Silence could theoretically be used remotely—like how Rosinante could use Silent Barriers—doing so reduced its power significantly, rendering it less effective.
Thus, Rosinante developed the Silent Magic Eyes, focusing the Silence power into his eyes. Through his gaze, he could transmit the Silent power to wherever he looked. Although the effect was slightly weaker than direct contact, it was far better than remote use.
The volcanic bombs, having been scanned by Rosinante's gaze, suddenly lost their gravitational pull.
"Boom boom!" With no gravity, the volcanic bombs shot forward faster, only to land far away, exploding in the distance without causing any harm to Rosinante.
"Nice fireworks!" Rosinante smiled as he watched the explosions.
"It's you, Silent Blade Rosinante?" Sakazuki said, his eyes narrowing.
"Quite an honor, Vice Admiral Sakazuki, to be recognized by such a small fry like me," Rosinante responded with a grin.
"Anyone who can defeat Borusalino is no small fry. Rosinante, congratulations. Though the newspaper hasn't announced it yet, the navy has decided to raise your bounty to 300 million Berries. But don't bother printing the poster; you'll be locked up in Impel Down today," Sakazuki said.
While he didn't entirely approve of Borusalino's casual approach, Sakazuki respected his strength. Ever since learning Rosinante defeated Borusalino, Sakazuki had kept a close eye on him.
"Impel Down? That's not my destination," Rosinante replied with a smile.
"Good. Then you won't have to go. We'll deal with you right here!" Sakazuki's lips curled into a grin. "Infernal Dog!"
A massive dog head made of molten lava lunged at Rosinante. The two ships had drawn close enough for Sakazuki's Infernal Dog to strike immediately.
"Your opponent isn't just me," Rosinante said with a smile.
"Silent, Heat Silence!" Rosinante extended his hand, coated in Armament Haki and Devil Fruit power. As he grasped the molten dog head, the heat rapidly diminished, making the lava powerless against his Haki-coated arm. With a firm grip, the Infernal Dog exploded in his hands.
"You've been whining too much, so I'm telling you, you're all just a bunch of women!" At this moment, the crazed Jack leapt onto the navy ship, charging at Sakazuki with his bizarre scythe raised.
"Magical Dog!" Sakazuki used Armament Haki to block Jack's scythe while throwing a molten fist. The punch hit Jack in the chest, sending him flying into the ship's hull, smashing a large hole into it.
"Hey, hey, hey, that hurt. So you really are a freak among the navy, a Logia user of the Magma-Magma Fruit," Jack groaned as he stood up, unscathed.
Seeing Jack was unhurt by his Magma Fist, Sakazuki frowned.
Jack, too, frowned as he looked at the place where Sakazuki's attack had struck him.
That punch broke my Armament Haki. The intense magma burned through my Haki and scorched my chest, almost piercing it. Truly, this guy is one of the three monsters of the navy.
"Silent Seal ability, huh? I like it. Now I can cause even more destruction," Jack laughed maniacally, charging at Sakazuki once more.
