Chapter 27 - Chapter 27 : Then we should talk.

Seeing Katakuri finally collapse, Rossinante didn't continue his attack.

"Huff… huff… huff…" Rossinante was gasping for breath. Releasing the self-imposed restrictions on his body had drained him to the bone, and the massive injuries had already taken most of his strength.

"What a monstrous body… he actually took over seventy of my full-force ollapse fists head-on. Good thing he finally went down—if he hadn't, things would've gotten messy. My healing seals have already crossed the danger threshold. Looks like after this, I'll need to find a place to recover properly." Rossinante muttered, holding his chest.

As he spoke, Rossinante slowly walked toward the fallen Katakuri.

At that moment, a heavily injured Perospero rushed out and stood in front of Rossinante, stretching out his arm to block him.

"W-What are you trying to do?! Don't forget—Katakuri is one of the Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates! If you kill him, you'll be facing Mama's wrath! You may be strong, but Mama's terror is far beyond your imagination!" Perospero warned.

"If you don't want him dead, then get out of my way. Relax—I'm not ready for an all-out war with Big Mom yet. I won't kill you." Rossinante replied calmly.

"Don't resist." As he spoke, Rossinante placed his hand on Perospero's shoulder. A strange power surged into Perospero's body, and within moments, a strange seal appeared on his skin.

Healing Seal—originally, it would take the time of brewing a cup of tea (3-5 mins) to carve one, but after lifting his body's limiters, Rossinante's Devil Fruit abilities had surged. It now took less than thirty seconds to engrave the seal.

The moment the Healing Seal was engraved, Perospero's wounds began healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Perospero looked at his hands in disbelief. The blood-soaked injuries on his body had nearly vanished in the blink of an eye. What shocked him even more was that Rossinante would heal their wounds.

Rossinante then walked to Katakuri and engraved the same seal on him. However, Katakuri's healing was much slower—after the intense battle, his stamina had been completely drained. With no strength to fuel the seal, it could only suppress his injuries at a slower pace, waiting for his stamina to return naturally.

But Rossinante didn't worry. As long as the Healing Seal was in place and Katakuri hadn't died instantly, he'd survive.

After finishing the seals, Rossinante let out a breath and lifted his body's restrictions silent, sitting down to rest.

"What do you want?" Perospero asked.

"The marks I just placed on you are called Healing Seals—part of my Devil Fruit power. They temporarily suppress your injuries. As long as the seal remains, your wounds won't show, and any new injuries will be absorbed as well. But the moment the seal disappears, all of the accumulated injuries will erupt at once… and what happens next, well, you're smart. You can imagine." Rossinante explained.

"I'm guessing the control of these seals is in your hands? Are you trying to use them to control us, Perorin?" Perospero asked suspiciously.

"I'm not naive enough to think I can control you with just this. I know Totto Land is full of talent—you'll eventually figure out how to remove the seals. But that takes time. And I need time—time to grow and stabilize. So these seals are symbols of a mutual friendship. As long as we stay out of each other's way, the seals will remain inactive. I can even release some of the pressure over time so they won't accumulate too much damage." Rossinante said with a smile.

"A symbol of friendship? Interesting… That is pirate-style friendship. But what makes you think Mama will agree to this?" Perospero asked coldly.

"That depends on how much you matter to her. But it's just a verbal friendship. Given your status, I'm sure she'll consider it." Rossinante replied.

"Perospero… Brother, just agree." At some point, Katakuri had already regained consciousness.

"I'll report this to Mama exactly as it happened—and do my best to convince her. But what she decides in the end… will be up to her." Perospero said solemnly.

"No problem." Rossinante stood up.

"Oh, and if you don't want to lose too many subordinates, I suggest you go stop them before it's too late. At this rate, you might not even have sailors left to steer your ships home." Rossinante added casually.

"You're overestimating them. Baron Tamago alone is more than enough to deal with those guys." Perospero said.

"Let's go. Baron Tamago and the rest are no match for those seven captains, each with a bounty over 100 million and engraved with Healing Seals." Katakuri got up and started walking toward the battlefield in the distance.

Perospero's face changed at those words, and he quickly followed behind Katakuri.

Meanwhile, on the other side—

Baron Tamago and the rest of the Big Mom Pirates were staring in terror at the seven monsters in front of them. No matter how severe the wounds, they just wouldn't die.

Among them, Baron Tamago had the highest bounty—400 million Berries. The rest, while only small fry in the Big Mom Pirates, still had individual bounties ranging from 30 million to 100 million. In the Four Seas, that would be enough to make them captains or senior officers. But in the New World, under Big Mom, they were nothing but goons.

Even so, they weren't weak. Normally, defeating them would've cost Binz and the others quite a bit of effort.

Under Baron Tamago's command, Binz and his crew were quickly pushed back. Their numbers were smaller, and Baron Tamago's strength was overwhelming.

But soon, Baron Tamago noticed something strange.

Despite inflicting wounds with his powerful attacks, the injuries on Binz and the others kept vanishing—like illusions. No matter how deep the damage, it healed in moments.

Binz and the others soon realized it too. Rossinante had told them they were practically unkillable with the Healing Seals—but witnessing it firsthand was another matter. Once they understood how it worked, they charged at the enemy without fear, throwing themselves into the fight recklessly.

With no fear of injury, Binz and his crew unleashed their full might. Their morale soared. In contrast, Baron Tamago's side grew hesitant and timid—their momentum crumbled.

Shockingly, the tide of battle turned. Binz and the seven tore through them like demons.

Homies and pirate goons fell one by one. In the end, only Baron Tamago and about ten stronger pirates remained standing—barely. Other than Baron Tamago, they were all seriously injured.

"Stop!" A voice rang out. A powerful force of will swept over the battlefield.

"Conqueror's Haki!" Binz and the others looked up, shocked, as Katakuri and Perospero appeared.

"Stop the fight. Let them go." Another wave of will burst forth, colliding with Katakuri's Conqueror's Haki. The ground cracked, black lightning flashed and exploded in the air—a clash of kings.

"Yes, Your Majesty!" Binz and the others saw Rossinante arrive, and the Conqueror's Haki emanating from him made them cheer with excitement.
