Chapter 108 - Harry’s Visit! Spider-Man’s Special Training!

Stockman was indeed an exceptional scientist, excelling across multiple fields.

But when it came to psycho-transportation technology…

Simply put, it was point-to-point teleportation. A groundbreaking discovery capable of changing the world, not something one person could achieve alone.

Yet in Stockman's hands, this technology had broken through theoretical barriers and reached a practical stage. The only remaining hurdle was stability.

Many found it unbelievable.

But Stockman had done it.

This achievement propelled him to the top of the scientific world, making him one of the most brilliant scientists alive. It also made the TCRI Institute a cutting-edge lab sought after by countless aspiring scientists.

What nobody knew was that Stockman had stumbled upon a treasure.

As Anton had explained, Stockman had gotten lucky—he had found one of the three components of an advanced alien device: the psycho-transportation apparatus.

Using that fragment, he reverse-engineered the missing process, leading to his current achievements.

Even though deducing the process from incomplete data wasn't simple, it still proved Stockman's genius, yet it was far easier than the recognition he received in today's scientific community.

This was Stockman's greatest secret.

Now, "Ghost"—Phil—had called it out bluntly.

"What do you mean by that?"

Stockman suppressed his tension and looked coldly at Phil. "Ghost, you don't trust me?"

"No, I trust your abilities, Doctor," Phil shook his head, a small smile forming. "I just think the core of the psycho-transportation device in front of you seems… incomplete. Don't you think?"

"…."

A long silence followed. Stockman stared at the device, realizing that this alien technology, which he had acquired through sheer accident, was indeed not whole.

"You're right," he said dejectedly. "It's not complete."

"We can gather the remaining parts and unleash every criminal in this world. Not just the Green Goblin or Shldr, but others too!" Phil's voice carried a hint of temptation, drawing Stockman in. "Then the world's criminals will be grateful to us."

Phil didn't move, but beneath his mask, his smile was almost crooked.

For the first time, he felt he had a knack for performance. Those classic villain lines came out effortlessly—he almost believed them himself.

He might truly have a talent for being a supervillain.

"You really are crazy!" Stockman's heart turned cold. He didn't notice Phil's quiet amusement and glared at him.

"Before that, we must rescue Master Shldr first," Stockman said. "Then we can help you save the Green Goblin and join forces to take revenge on Batman."

"Whatever you say," Phil shrugged.

DC Headquarters.

Near the end of the workday, Anton received an unexpected visitor: Harry Osborn.

"Harry, long time no see," Anton raised an eyebrow. He hadn't expected the heir to Oscorp to appear while internal corporate battles were heating up.

"Anton," Harry replied, looking exhausted. The youthful vigor was gone, replaced by the look of someone overworked and sleep-deprived.

The power struggle at Oscorp had clearly reached a critical point. Harry wanted to protect his father's empire, but shareholders were trying to seize the opportunity to take control.

He looked Anton in the eye and said seriously, "I'm here to ask for your help."

"And what could I do to help?" Anton asked, surprised. A corporate battle at Oscorp wasn't really his concern.

"About my father…" Harry hesitated, then clenched his teeth. "At Oscorp Manor, I discovered some things… You know the truth, don't you? My father's disappearance—he wasn't captured or killed by the Green Goblin, right?"

Anton was not surprised. He nodded.

"Since you've discovered it yourself, I don't need to hide it. Just as you suspected, your father became the Green Goblin. After the Lizard incident, Norman took Conners from the NYPD and developed a human enhancement serum. But, as you can see, the side effects caused him to lose control."

"Human enhancement serum…" Harry closed his eyes in pain, then opened them after a long pause.

"It was because of a hereditary disease, wasn't it?" he asked bitterly.

Anton nodded silently.

At the end of the Green Goblin incident, Norman had asked him and Spider-Man not to tell Harry. Out of respect for the past, Anton had complied.

But now that Harry had discovered the truth himself, there was no need to hide it further. Anton believed Harry could handle it. After all, this wasn't a tragedy—yet.

"So my father isn't dead?" Harry's eyes lit up. "Can I see him?"

"Sorry, his mental state is worse than you think," Anton shook his head. "But rest assured, he's safe. We're working on reversing the serum's side effects. Soon, you might see a healthy, composed Norman Osborn."

"Thank you!" Harry said. He left silently, strengthened by the news and more determined to protect his family's empire.

If his father returned to find Oscorp already changed, it would devastate both him and Norman.

Watching Harry leave, Anton thought of Spider-Man.

During the Green Goblin incident, Peter had power but couldn't fully utilize it—sometimes not even 100%. Anton decided it was time to give him special training.

The past few busy days almost made him forget.

He glanced at the sky, got up, and drove to Midtown High in Queens.

The students were just being dismissed.

Transformed and now famous at school, Spider-Man walked shoulder-to-shoulder with his girlfriend.

As he stepped out, he noticed a familiar sports car nearby, and his face changed.

"Gwen, I have something to do. I can't walk you home today!"

Peter hurriedly said goodbye to Gwen, took a detour, and got into Anton's car like he knew the routine.

"Anton, what's going on?" Peter asked, serious but eager. "Can I help?"

"This involves you, Peter," Anton said, equally serious.

"Really?" Peter's eyes lit up, thrilled to be praised by his mentor.

"Yes," Anton smiled. "I'll take you somewhere to meet some new friends, and… teach you a few things." He studied Spider-Man intently.
